Did you Form 1 a lower and build or buy a factory SBR?
what was the wait time? It has been a few years since I paid for a tax stamp

    .308. I’ve said that if I can’t kill it with a .308 I don’t want to chase it.

Form 1 and build, took about 30 days for the SBR stamp, for suppressor I heard around a year or so ( still waiting ) It’s still $200 for the stamp and also name , city and state has to be engraved on the lower.

Thats not bad at all for a Form 1 wait. I have 2 SBR form 1s that i did 4-5 years ago, took around 5 months. The wait on suppressor form 4s has always been rediculious, all mine have been over an 8 month wait

    :D
I have yet to have any NFA item to take less than 11 months.
3 x SBR form 1’s 4 years ago were 12 months each. Every suppressor has been 11-15 months.
From what I understand as of recently the new SBR form 1’s are quick (1 month is amazing), and apparently I should do a bunch more LOL.

    Eta-
    Finally getting somewhere. :D
600 Subs down, 1400 more to go.

Eta - 1700 rnds down. Ran out of pew pews LOL. Had 300 less than I thought damnit.

Kick ass!! Do you have any Scorpion/Zenith/MP5 experience? I have a Scorpion, buddy has a Zenith, and we haven’t went out together yet with both platforms. I love the Scorpion suppressed with Subsonics....but I have a feeling the rollerback system on the Zenith is the bees knees (buddy has both and prefers Zenith).
Supposedly the Zenith (MP5) system is old news and a few militaries are issuing the B&T (Swiss).

Sure is nice to have semi auto SMG type options :D

I wish i could get some time with the Zenith, I hear nothing but good things. Shot the scorpion and really enjoyed it, that's a great choice. I'm looking hard at suppression.

The scorpion suppressed with Subs is completely badass. I got lazy for years because I was too busy to reload and ran factory 147gr 9mm that was 1000ftps, it’s not the same. Reloading to your exact specs that still cycle your own junk is the ticket.

Not that I am a wheelgun girl but...

My first gun, bought in '92.

    Early 3rd Gen SAA

52 Combat Masterpiece (Pre-15). Sadly, it didn't have its original grips (had crappy rubber grips) so I put a newer set on there with one of those fillers I had laying around (it now has Ahrends wood grips on there).
Colt Cobra circa 1979, pre underlug.
    And my fave 45...

'68 National Match. See, I'm not a wheelgun girl, I do have more semi's than wheelguns (I think...). Of these, only the stainless 65 is kept loaded for SD at home. Along with this.

Thumper. I don't take him on vacation though. The 65 or my Smith M&P 45 is what goes with when I am traveling far from home.
Don't get me started on the rifles... LOL.

I’m actually working on that next. I’m waiting for one large once fired lot of brass from the same MFG to pop up for sale. I have multiple .300’s and building another full Noveske 10.3” SBR right now :D

I’m not exactly in the biggest hurry though. I thought my .308 Templar Can would be repaired by now. Come to find out, Crux bought Templar, and then Crux sold to another guy and they’re in a legal battle. He wants to replace the can, but can’t. So I officially have a $1,200 Titanium paper weight for who knows how long.
I’m going to pickup another .308 Can soon, this time through a more reputable company (Surefire, AAC, Gemtech, SilencerCo). But of course the wait is another Fing year.

Folks, buy cans from reputable MFG’s.
The crack was due to a MFG flaw in their engraving process.

Stippling looks on point. Can't get into rmr myself yet, too much of a change, but how you like that streamlight compared to surefire? Used to run SL and then I tried SF and was blown away by difference, but haven't seen that one. Nice looking.

    SL from a SF is a 50% decrease in lumens....500 to 1000.
I have a handful of weapon mounted lights and the SF X300’s are always hands down worth every ounce of weight and money.
Practice in the dark and you’ll agree.

Eta - set up a couple plates down in the creek area below the house.

    home rolled 147GR 9mm subs are still running....perfect :D

I hate surefire weapon lights to be honest. Never understood the craze. The switch mechanism is cumbersome for me. They definitely have a large following though. Stream light is a fraction of the cost and very well proven to be durable as hell.

The big plus for me is that you can push the switch forward on the SF to just get light when you need it instead of using the switch. Helped me break habit of using trigger finger for light (changed to non-dom. thumb). Still have SL on an HK45, and they are durable. That said, I think I'm a convert- that model you have looks pretty nice though.

Just picked up a new Ruger LCP II as my EDC. The Glock 17 was just getting annoying to carry. The other gun is the Glock 17 (9mm) BTW. I don't even know I'm carrying the Ruger. SO much nicer, more comfortable and convenient.

Gotta love the heavy duty Glocks! My winter carries are G27 and G23 with 357 sig barrels and a G29 and G20 in 10mm.

I'll raise you all four Colt Delta Elites and a pair of his and her 308 SCARS in FDE and flat black. I like thumpers!

the LCP is a great gun. I used to have the original before my boating accident.
How do you like to 2?
