    Personally I love it..see below

I was in your camp too....and then I handled the 19x...I also paid way below $750 at $600 after tax

While it can be done by adding a 17 mag etc, this particular pistol is different to me...I have owned several 17s, 19s, a 22, and a couple 23s

It may be the new trigger, or it may be the new barrel, or the very balanced feel in my hand, but the 19x may be my favorite pistol at this point...I could always point shoot Glocks pretty well but the 19x brings my accuracy into quality point shooting

It’s good enough to me that I’ll probably add more Gen5s to my safe down the road once my ffl is finalized despite my numerous Glocks already in my possession

I’ve always been a full grip Glock guy and have more time behind a 22 than anything else with probably 15k rounds down range but I shoot that 19x better than any Glock I’ve ever fired

I hardly conceal my 19 but I keep it in my console with a 17 mag in it, got the Glock 33 round for the hall of it but it stays at home. I really want a 21 but feel like I should get a 17 for the house just because of the same ammo and mags.

Us Coloradans can’t be trusted with magazines over 15 rounds

    I had a G21 and G20. Great shooters. The 20 was a hand cannon.

At 600.00, that is more tempting. I can understand a more balanced feel of the full sized frame.

Maybe I will have to fondle one sometime....I have been swayed more than once ;)

My main toy is a Savage 110 FCP in 338 Lapua. I went with a Nightforce NSX 5x22x56 scope, Nightforce rings, 20 MOA base. The brass is Lapua. The bullet is SMK 300 grain being pushed by Fed 215 magnum primers and H1000 powder. The group is one hole. It’s calibrated to 1600 yards for now.

That was the gun show while it's still new price too over here

I don't worry too much about the concealability of it because I usually carry the 43 or offbody so size is not a factor

My short response to this nonsense was, " replace the word gun or assault rifle with Muslim and see how many people quickly back away from these "arguments"
I am having an ongoing debate with a gun control freak about source vs symptom i.e a ideology that breeds terrorist vs inanimate objects (guns) used by crazy people.

Stevens has done us a YUGE favor by saying what he said, he has revealed the true plans the Alt-Left media & DNC have for America. The mask is slowly coming off, vote them out of power and keep them out of our education system.

Gotta love the gun pics threads! :)

Surgeon Scalpel in .308, Jewell, Nightforce, Templar can.
Rolling my own with Lapua brass achieves some pretty amazing results :D

This was years back, the Halo can now resides on a 10.5” LMT SBR
The other is a G17 that never stops running, with a SWR Trident.

The latest addition - for my 9yr old daughters Christmas present. *cough***ruger**cough*** Ranch 16”
.300BLK - running Sub. It’s super quiet for flinging a 220Gr projectile and has almost zero kick. Perfect little starter unit. It’s way shorter than it looks.
She’ll be hunting black tails out to 125yrds or so.

And the back-porch fun cannon :)
Rem Versamax Comp Tac. (with Salvo 12) runs 100% with any 12G Sub load. Rem designed this gas system beyond belief - highly recommended.
Looks awkward, but even the ladies don’t mind sending a handful of rounds through it.

Interesting note, since the FN factory is local...I was there at their shop on release day and handled one before anyone else...has to wait a couple months to purchase because I wasn't sold on it but eventually came around and picked one up and was able to get my old badge number as the serial through some luck and knowing the guys at the shop

I have no experience hunting but have heard a 10mm round is good for white tail and small game, does any here have any exp with this round?

I was able to rent a 5.7 today at the range. Awesome gun. They didn't have one for sale so I don't know how much they are, but it' on my list of guns I'd love to have. Really liking my new 509 as well.
