My Block 2 FSP is finished minus an optic, will be either a Comp M4 or Eotech. Upper receiver is Colt cage code, Colt BCG, PRI military latch gasbuster, Colt 14.5 Socom profile barrel, Surefire 4 prong, Daniel Defense RIS FSP, and KAC 600 meter buis. The lower is a "Property of US Government M4A1" PSA, B5 Sopmod stock, with Schmid lpk, CQD rear sling mount, and Geissele SSAtrigger. GWOT!!

I just picked up this Springfield XDm 10mm. Any recommendations on chest holster? The Kenai seems like an obvious choice.

Got some rounds down range today with the new (to me) Super Redhawk Alaskan 44Mag.

50 rounds at 5 yard w/240gr JHP. Not as much kick as I ecpected:

First round of polishing was a success, several more to go:

Picked up my latest pistol today. This is going to be a base for a build I'm planning out:

Also picked up the foam for my DW ECO case. 4th one these guys have done for me; they've done several for work "stuff"...as always, fits like a glove:

I had a G45 and bought a 19x a couple weeks ago, decided to switch slides and see how they look. I think the black G45 frame with the coyote 19x slide looks pretty good.

Since carry handles are back in style I decided to do an A2 upper from Throughbred Armament, Colt 14.5 gov profile barrel, non-F marked rifle height FSB, and 2-position buffer tube with a CAR stock.

Someone came over and they wanted to buy my Grendel, so I started another one.
I needed to coordinate all the parts that have accumulated over the years and putting together another was a good excuse. I organized everything and all matching parts are in separate bags and I put together another lower. The handle is not the one that will stay there, an Ergo will go there when they get more in stock.IMG_6524.jpg

it has ambi safety selector, and ambi mag release on it now.

Hey, I've never run an RMR... would you mind trying to capture a view through your optic illustrating what the sight picture looks like w/your suppressor height sights and RMR 'co-witnessing'??

I'm guessing you lose a small portion of the viewing window...

Do you get a true co-witness w/the RMR??

Last question... do you find there's 'conflict' w/the RMR and iron sights in the viewing window?

Coyote? I thought that color was called 'baby poop'..
I sold my 19X after buying my G45.
The 19x wouldn't take my old G17 mags and I hated the color after a few weeks..

    Nothing special.

This was an SS 223 wylde upper purchased on a whim 5 years ago from an online vendor who I won't be buying from again.

BCA SS 223 wylde barrel on an Aero upper, carbine length. Had to pester them into taking it back to machine the feed ramps to fix feed issues. When I finally got it back I noticed once I was able to run a full mag uninterrupted by malfunctions it was wildly over gassed. Had to go to an H2 just to keep the buffer tips from getting chewed up and the firing pin retainers from getting mangled. Never shot particularly well.

I figured why replace the gas block on a mediocre barrel, so Finally went to a Ballistic advantage SS premium 223 wylde mid length. Spikes ST2 behind it. Very soft shooter that zeroed easily at 25 touching holes. Cycles 55 gr 223 without a hiccup with a just over 4 oz buffer but still have to experiment with different factory loads. Can't wait to shoot groups at 100 and ring steel at 2 in a couple weeks. I regret not trying a mid length gassed 16 inched before now.

Vortex Sparc AR with a Vortex 3x behind it but will probably get a scope now that it's sorted out and I put a couple thousand rounds through it like this. Probably should have just swiped left 5 yrs ago but I spent the cash and then spent more cash to make it a shooter. Now the mutt is fully mine.

I just read up on this. The first thing that comes to mind is it would not be good for any type of protection carry gun for no other reason than I would not shoot this around people because I would be worried of pass through.

In general that's a real roll of the dice to pick up a carry gun that runs off a brand new concept. I'd have to see a few years of field testing to even consider it. Not sure who's gonna pick up one of these and a holster then run 500 rnds through it and consider it good to go. Let's see what the youtubers get out of it.

Thinking about having the 19x or G17 slide milled out for an optic.
