    I have several FN's. I don't have a 509 due to the trigger. It's terrible. I'd recommend a H&K VP9.

Is that a Blue Force Gear Vickers sling? I've got one in the mail along with two snap hooks for my Block 1 build. Where did you mount it to the front? I put a CQD sling mount end plate on mine and I found the Colt side mount sling swivel, my Block 2 has the CQD rail sling mount. I only have one lower at the moment. Here's my build thread for the two 14.5 socom uppers. The Block 1 has the KAC buis but it will wear the Matech once I get an Eotech XPS3 and lower for the Block 2.

Yes it is. Good eye. The front attachment point is by a bcm qd. My rail is a midwest with qd points milled into it. It's not clone correct like a kac or p&s ras but it'll do for now. I have a KAC RIS I need to part ways with if you're wanting to build a mk18 mod 0 clone

I've considered a Mk18 build but I think I want to do a URGI next. I've got a new Colt cage code upper so basically a blank canvas for whatever I decide.

Ah! Well too late now, I made the deal! It does come with an Apex flat trigger installed in it, so maybe that’ll help with the trigger issue

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
For crying out loud this made me do some mental math….

I was in Iraq in 2004, I’m old enough now to have had a kiddo who could be old enough to have gone into the USMC and deployed by now.

I don’t feel that old, but here I am.

In other news this arrived to plunk on top of the Accuracy International AT-X:

    IMG_0059.jpg

Need to order a mount, because my dumb ass assumed this was 30mm tube, and I have 30mm rings.

Well screw me, it’s a 34mm tube….. details are hard. LOL.

The scope is a Zeiss LRP S3 6-36X56mm with the ZRf MRi reticle and 1/10 Mil turrets.

Eurooptic is running a very very aggressive sale on these right now at 25% off, free shipping, and they pay your sales tax!

The full size I bought by mistake and the carry model I should have seen first. Collected the set I guess you could say…

New parts came in yesterday. Added a strike industries dust cover, rail covers, installed the Steiner otal and surefire vamp light on a unity tactical taps switch . Need to go test now.

Need advice...my background...have an HK 9mm, no optics. No rifles. Just go a Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol 12 gauge for HD, but I want to practice, be GOOD at it. Going to be using Federal LE 8 pellet 00 buck...does a red dot help me any, or not enough? If so, recommendations? I'm leaning toward a Holosun, if I do get one.
    Thanks!

Yes, a red dot should help significantly in quick target acquisitions

I like the Holosun 508T for my Beretta 1301 as it has the large circle reticle that seems to play really nice with buckshot spread patterns

Lately some ranges seem to have practice sessions taught with all sorts of different scenarios. They practice one, two, three times a week. Before they closed a local place did this all the time for men and women. May make some calls to see about getting some real world practice and have some fun. Just a thought. Best of luck
