According to Wikipedia it is. I'll put my pellet rifle up against many "guns" for pest control. More silent than my 22lr and .223, and just as deadly for varmint.

Love our dead air 22! Performs equal or better than much larger .22 cans I've tried.

I have the spectre ii and enjoy that. Didn’t plan on getting another .22 suppressor but after talking my uncle into starting his suppressor collection and reading up on the dead air .22, I just couldn’t help myself!

Speaking of guns on a list, bucket list, whatever. I came across one here recently on my list of guns to buy on sight. Used but you can’t tell, put an old RMR on it until I decide on a more permanent optic. Might get a different plate from WC for an Aimpoint ACRO P2, or buy a more up to date Trijicon.

Pistol is a Wilson Combat SFX9 4” in 9X19mm, with an optic cut slide.

If I ever carried a 1911 style weapon in a professional capacity it would be a WC

Were you looking for that specific WC or just an available one at a reasonable price???

Either way, congrats on scoring that nice piece of hardware!!!!

Christensen Ridgeline Titanium FFT in 7mm PRC. Trying to decide what scope I want, prioritizing reliability and RTZ so I may even get something as heavy as an ATACR. 5.3 pounds unscoped right now.

I was going to order that exact pistol within the next year or so. Never see them stocked in my area.

ATACRs are way nice. Trijicon has a relatively new line out for long range,, never used one but hear they are nice scope.

As much as I like the ATACR on a lightweight hunting rig I suspect you won’t be dialing in dope enough to realize the need for an ATACR. The Nightforce NX8 line or Leupold VX5 HD line will probably give you 99% of the performance of an ATACR at a lower weight and cost.

I considered an NX8 but I’ve read the eye box can be a little small? Probably from the 8X zoom. I need to get in a shop and put hands on one. The VX5 or 6 had been my plan for a long time I just don’t trust them as much as I do a NF. I had a VX3 that wouldn’t RTZ without bumping it. I’m still deciding obviously, problem is I am not getting closer to a decision as a do more research. I don’t really want a 33 oz scope if I can help it though.

There’s a big difference between the hardware inside a VX5 or VX6 and a VX3. I don’t think you’ll have trouble dialing on the higher end Leupold.

I have what is now an ancient 2.5-8X36 VXIII on a Cooper M57 chambered in .22LR. Not a scope I would try to dial on all the time, but once zeroed it hasn’t shifted a bit in 12 years or so.

I also love Nightforce. I have an old NXS 3.5-15X50 that was on a rifle that fell off my back in a stand when the sling let go. Hit the ground so hard the rifle stock cracked in half, and the scope took a big hit to the elevation turret. Once I got the rifle re-stocked and took it to the range expecting to at a minimum re-zero, and possibly send a scope off for repairs, imagine my surprise when the zero didn’t shift. I then shot a box test and the scope still tracks accurately.

The Canik I ordered came in today. I paid $430 (including shipping and FFL fee) for it with the vortex viper. It didn’t come with rear site plate (but I had no intention of using it anyway). Also came with 2 factory mags, but not the original to the gun (they normally have a matching +2 gray base plate).

All in all I think I did great for the price.
