My plans for this little 32 hand ejector are to tear it all down as far as I can, clean it up and remove the gunk and rust etc

Its a Smith 32 hand ejector second model no change best i can tell so far. 4 digit serial number and they ran to about 19000 between 1903 and 1904 only.

Then I'm gonna have my gunsmith buddy put it all back together and reblue it and make it look nice

I'm not sure if all the parts are there as the cylinder doesn't currently rotate as it should. I grabbed the frame for $5 with trigger, barrel, hammer and internals...and a parts bag with a longer barrel, cylinder, and the other parts except the frame for $70...The trigger and hammer and firing pin all function though. If we can get it to functional, I'll round up some ammo for it but if not...I'll make it look real nice and put it in a shadow box and hang it up in my gun room...

My budget AR pistol build. AR Precision upper/lower, standard parts kit, AR Precision BCG, KAK brace, Balistics Advantage 7.5 barrel, Springfield Armory Saint Victor blast diverter. Just need a handguard and barrel nut. I ordered a 9" AR Precision figuring it would cover the barrel and leave just enough of the muzzle device exposed (the look I want) but it was roughly 1/3-1/2" inside the rail so guess I'll get a 7" which will leave the muzzle device fully exposed. An 8" rail is hard to find but I'll keep looking.20211212_103437.jpg

Its easier/cheaper to cut a 9" HG and cut it down than find an 8". At least thats whats worked for me.

How long is it from the upper receiver's edge to the very end of the muzzle device?

Replaced the grip module on the P365XL. Loved the Grayguns P320 module so I thought I'd try their 365. Feels incredible and looks great. Simple mod.20211215_152509.jpg
They do offer first responder discount. I noticed that after I completed my order so I guess I'll use it next time.

That looks great. I was not aware that series had the fire control unit/grip module set up. I have the old P250 so I have a decent understand of it and I like it.

Push out the one pin in the back and the whole thing pops out to drop into a new grip. A little different than the P320/P250 grips, but not much.

I am considering getting a muzzle brake or a suppressor for the ruger PC carbine shown here.

Never had either, nor went to purchase either. I know real suppressors are costly, and muzzle brakes appear to be a cheaper option. End of barrel threads are 1/2-28.

    Any advice welcome, or reccomendations.

Building a Form 1 can from parts isn’t hard, and can be done fairly cheaply (or not), but any way you shake it you’ve got a $200 tax to pay to have a legal suppressor on top of the cost of the device (and the wait time)

A muzzle brake will have an entirely different effect (tame recoil, direct percussion sideways, rattle the teeth of people next to you). Decent muzzle brakes can be had for $50-$150 depending on brand and features.

    I have a Silencerco Octane 9 and a Ruger PC9:

    PXL_20211216_041959340.jpg

I started looking into silencers two years ago with no idea how the process works and pretty intimidated by all of it. I ended up walking into a gun store that coincidentally sells suppressors and does all the paperwork, and now I have a handful with more waiting for approval.

While I think they're very cool and fun, it's definitely a lot of money to throw around so I wouldn't recommend it unless you feel like you have plenty of money for ammo and guns already (or REALLY want a suppressor). Majority of guns even suppressed I would still wear hearing protection with, you might be fine without it but the action alone is still beyond what I would want to hear a few hundred times next to your head. Course with that said, one suppressor can be used on many guns. I only have the single 9mm but all my PCCs have 3 lug quick disconnects on them and I can run it on my pistols by swapping out a few parts quickly.

Kind of like a supercharger, very cool and fun, but realistically pretty useless and costs the same as another vehicle. Depends on your priorities, but I think they're awesome! I have no complaints about the Octane 9, but after watching some videos it looks like Dead Air is arguably better suppression wise so I plan to grab one of them next. Also if you think you want a suppressor, remember you have to wait a year or so after paying for it. Which is good and bad, if you feel rich now you'll get a "free" present in a year, but also hopefully you're still into shooting in a year and will want it then. All food for thought, sorry for the long post, but I was there too 18 months ago :D

Bought my first (and only Form 4 so far) can in December 2014. Took 14 months to actually take possession of it due to wait times. It’s a SWR (now part of SilencerCo) Spectre II 22LR direct thread. Absolute blast…when mounted on a 10/22, the gun is louder dry firing that with live ammunition.

Then I discovered solvent traps and built a titanium 30 cal Form 1 (only took 4 weeks for paperwork) that uses the Dead Air KeyMo mounting system and Dead Air end caps. At the end of the day, it would have been a wash for me to buy a Dead Air can vs building my own, but I learned a ton and got to tailor it to my wants (same reason I’ve built 4 80% Sig pistols, a P80 Glock19, and countless ARs). I use that can on 308, 223, 300BLK, and some day will try it on my 7mm RM, though I’d never hunt with it (frigging setup would be 34” long!). On 300BLK subsonics, I’d go all day without ear pro, but not on supersonics or any other caliber.

After the 30 cal Form 1, I did a 45 cal titanium pistol can that uses Liberty pistol boosters and also has direct thread mount to use on my MPX (where it lives most of the time). Only three week turnaround there.

At some point, I’ll dive back into another can or two. I’d like to get a modular pistol can that can be run on my handguns that isn’t quite as long as my form 1. I’d like to dedicate a can to live on my 556 MCX, and then might do the same with my 300BLK MCX as well. But that’s a lot of money I could spend on a lot of other things too…

I've been thinking about trying a Form 1, I have a lathe and a CNC mill so could get pretty sexy. Most cans are pretty anticlimactic internally for what you're paying for.

Since this is Toyota Tundra forum with member that love our 2A and have some very nice arms.

I thought this would have been posted here by now. Anyway, any of you folks have one of these?

These are a "Hard Reset" trigger that just recently came out a couple months ago. Rare Breed is going
through some hell right now with the ATF and they ordered a stop & decease order.

These are pretty BadAzz! I have "A friend" who has the WOT Trigger. All I know, IF SHTF it will come
    in handy!

Gettem before you can't. Big lawsuit with the Rare Breed. Big Daddy Unlimited sells the WOT Trigger and
is less expensive than the Rare Breed and the other 3rd hard reset trigger that I forgot the name of.

Pretty shady how Big Daddy did Rare Breed on that trigger

Exclusive sales of the RB until they could copy it...kick RB to the curb, then ATF legal costs start and BDU drops their copy trigger...making RB have to now have 2 costly legal battles...one of which is actually super important for gun owners

I'll never give BDU a dime...plus the whole you have to subscribe and pay a monthly fee to shop with us thing....

I agree on the subscription fee. Thought it was weird. However, their prices are pretty damn good. But I only did the 1-month deal for .99 cents. After that I'm gone.

BlackHawk Armory sell them as well, and I have had nothing but great service with them.

IIRC, the guy who owns the patient for the "Hard Trigger reset" licensed it out to RB, WOT, and a third company.

BDU was never issued a license from what I understood and there is an open patent infringement lawsuit there

Took my new Tisas 1911 shooting today despite it being 5°. I fired approximately 150 rounds through it without a single fault. I'm absolutely in love with this thing. I feel comfortable enough with it IMG_20211217_204121527.jpg to get a shoulder holster and use this as my daily carry

I own a Liberty MysticX, when they are not on a PCC (I have the Ruger too, great rifle) I use the FBA blast diffuser with the MysticX mount.

Most of the big names in suppressors have the same type of thing. Bad part is, they are not cheap, not from any of them so you need to have some idea of what brand suppressor you think you'd want and buy the mounts w/diffuser from them so you aren't buying twice.

    Truth.
Should be noted that RB copied other triggers and made some tweaks, they aren't the first to do that.
