    It's good
Hard to argue with that. Can't remember if the G45 is rostered in CA. Maybe same mag fit though.

I agree... there are few things that improve the performance of a carry gun more than practice.

I have an older generation LCP with very low profile sights milled into the slide. My eyesight isn't like it was when I was younger, and the sights are about useless for me. Still, the LCP performs adequately in my hands as a pocket gun for self defense.

When I was pre-purchase researching the LCP, most guys reporting on their new guns said Hornady CD performed flawlessly. So... that's what I began with and that's all this little gun has ever digested without a hiccup. I think there is a good case to be made for standard RN bullets, but my LCP reliably goes bang and that's 99.9% of the game with small autoloading pocket guns.

    7yds.

That's what I was thinking, I need to research around what to get. Something a little nicer and different than the other guns have.

I don't recall what ammo I shot out of it but it was likely Winchester white box 115 gr FMJ that I use for target practice. I really liked everything else about the LCP though. I have to say the most painful handgun I ever owned was a Dimondback 9mm. That pistol was really small and light but had like at least a 12 lbs trigger on it. It was a novel gun but I sold it and don't ever miss it!

    Edit;
Damn, sorry about the HUGE pics..:eek2:

I've had few, if any, failures with my LCP over the years.
    Now my Kahr CW380?
Thats still in the safe until it runs reliably.
Even after Kahr's 300 rd break in, I can't rely on it.

My Kahr CM9, no issues at all.

Sent the slide and parts off for Ionbond and added a front night sight.
    Easily carries OWB.

I bought the CM9 after giving my Dad my PM9.
He was going to buy a Taurus 709 Slim.
I couldn't let him do that, what kind of son would I be? :eek2::thumbsup:

Post above that one, my CM9 no issues at all.
Or the PM9 before I gave it to my Dad, it runs fine.
    I bought the PM9 used.

But that CW380 has been finicky since I bought it.
Been so long since I took it to the range, I can't remember what type of failures it had.
It probably just needs more break-in time.

How do you like the Kriss? It's been on my want list for awhile, if for no other reason than the cool operation.

Kriss is a rock star at under 200 yards - mine is zeroed at 75 yards - when you SBR it and using ball ammo - everyone at range wants to shoot it. No kick and it thuds targets. Add suppressor and it’s insane! Whoosh thud!

Well my mom went and bought herself a little "insurance policy" today. I helped her pick it out because she wanted to make sure she wasn't going to get screwed over because she was a woman looking for a new pew.

Charter Arms Undercover Lite .38. It's not a bad looking or feeling gun. I'm taking her shooting tomorrow so she can start getting used to it

Yeah, but I think she can handle it. She's not going to be shooting any +P through it. She just wanted something other than my dad's .357 for her defense weapon.

I have a S&W 360 5 shot of similar design. It is positively miserable with 357 but I think pretty much anybody can handle it if they stick to 38.

I was looking at a Ruger SP101 .357 with a 3" barrel, but after firing my friend's, I'll just stick with my 1911

Hows the full width rmr on a 1911? Feel noticeable when holstered? Beautiful weapons.
