Canik makes really excellent pistols! They have great triggers and are as dependable as any Glock on the market. Too bad they don't have ANY mags available in the U.S. for their guns.

Answer in pm’s if necessary; but has anyone seen a revolver use a gas system to full auto all 6? More curious than anything, but it sure would be cool. Like a steam engine, cause you’d probably have to use a flywheel for timing.

Bought my littlest his first rifle for his Birthday. A Daisy Red Ryder BB gun. I purchased the heritage kit from Daisy that has the adult model included. I even carved his name in the stock. His brother got one a couple years ago and I did the same for him too. I still have my old one from 30 years ago but it's out in the shop and I'm too lazy to get it lol. Happy Birthday Son!

Such a lucky kid, I remember my first BB gun. My dad hid it behind the Christmas tree and when we were all done opening presents I think he could sense my sadness. He waited about 30 mins and then said "Vicky, I think we missed one behind the tree". Boy you can imagine my smile when he pulled that thing out. I spent the rest of the day shooting out my neighbors Christmas lights and snails that were hanging around the lawn. Yeah, I know I am a bad girl, but at 10 yrs old what did I know?..[/QUOTE]

Check the build link in my signature.
I’m thinking you’re gonna have issues effectively capturing the gas because of the cylinder gap. That’s just the start of the complexity…

I guess I'll finally contribute to this thread. I just picked up a new deer rifle...I walked in with every intention of buying a Tikka T3X, but I came out with this Christensen Arms Ridgeline in 6.5 CM. It was on sale. Still expensive. It just felt so good and light in my hands. Ah well. Once my ammo arrives, I'll have enough rounds for the somewhat excessive break-in procedure detailed on the CA website. Excited to get out there and catch some deers with it. :D

That’s one hell of a collection you have there Ron. Very nice.

I think another .22 pump will be coming my way. The one with the octagonal barrel is a Premier Trail Blazer.

My oldest wants to start shooting .22, so after this turnaround from hell I’m taking her out. She’s ready.

I'd heard good things about them but never held one, and this thing was calling my name at the gun store. Definitely my favorite pistol I've shot so far, the grip feels great to me for some reason. Plus has an optics cut and suppressor ready and some schnazzy bits! Can't go wrong!

Nice way to keep up the tradition!

One piece of advice: don't try firing them with the cocking lever left hanging down. I tried that when I was a kid "just to see what would happen". The reward for my curiosity were very sore knuckles in my right hand. The cocking lever will return to its closed position at about the speed of light when the trigger is pulled.

I think we've all tried that and yeah it sucks. I noticed the new models have a ratcheting action as they're cocked. Maybe it's to keep kids from trying it.

North American Arms back when Dick Casull was involved. This was originally designed to chamber his .454 hotrod round but it didn't work out and he left and took his round with him. This is chambered in 450 magnum express, 45 win mag and 45 colt. 450 mag ex is a fire breathing mule. The Freedom Arms model 83 was Casull's version of this but in 454 Casull.
