It belongs to a friend of mine. He let me use all the salvageable parts and he kept the rest.

 

The stock is trash. The nub that goes into the lower receiver to keep it from spinning is sheared off and the buttplate is cracked.

 

Love when guys show off their guns, especially now that we live in such a sensitive world…How about a gen 2 ruger precision .308!

Foxtrotmike 16 inch side charging 9mm upper. Bought it in January, now on a PSA blem lower. Ran perfectly for months with all ammo on Endomag converted Pmags.

I looked at 600 malfunction free rounds and said “totally unacceptable” so I set off wasting ammo and range sessions trying to get it to run Glock mags on a conversion block. Did not want a dedicated lower but wanted magazines I could feel comfortable leaving loaded 24/7. Also wanted to get away from dealing with the funky manual of arms necessary for a setup with ejector built onto the magazine.

Sylvan Arms block had some trouble with hollow points and then crapped the bed completely when a piece of metal chipped off the ejector. Now running a Stern Defense block with last round bolt hold open and a built in feed ramp and wishing I’d have done this first. Runs everything, has a better mag release and feels more solid with a mag in it than the Sylvan did.

Always feels good to sort out a problem child so I can get back to shooting for fun and not to diagnose problems.

Five and a half years ago my oldest son was taking in everything I was doing to this Glock. On his 8th birthday I carried him shooting for the first time. Now he's about to turn 9 in one week. He's an amazing kid, straight A student, and a damn good shooter! So he's been hinting about a G44 for a few months. Well ol dad pulled thru and surprised him tonight with an early birthday present. He couldn't be happier! Since he's a lefty I already had the mag release setup for a left hand shooter before I gave it to him. He'll get to take the first shots this weekend.

 

My son got to run the first 200 rounds thru his G44 yesterday. 100 rounds of cci ran flawless. 50 rounds Winchester Wildcat with 11 or 12 fte. 50 rounds of Armscor with 8 fte. All in all he was extremely happy with his present and it has moved to the top of his list of favorites. I ran another 50 rounds thru my TRP while we were there too.

 

Now that's a man's man right there!

 

Custom mag fed semi-auto shottie

 

Been switching a few things around… getting closer to how I want them. Got a new hammer and night sights coming for the 220, an SRT kit for the 226, and need to switch out the 365 rear sight from U to SQ notch.

 

The “real” one…one of them anyway.

 

How do you like it? 300blk? Been looking to get a 300blk gun now that I have a 300 can and the MCX was already catching my eye.

 

Well...that one is just a die-cast toy of a Rattler.

But, I've got two MCX Virtus and one "Hybrid" MCX Virtus (AR lower - SBR, Virtus upper).
Of the three, I've got one with the 6.75" 300 barrel, one with the 9" 300 barrel, and one with the 11.5" 556 barrel. All of them are fun to shoot (especially with a can), and with the 300 and the MCX platform there is virtually no blowback like you get with a suppressed DI setup.

 

This followed me home today. Remington 1903A3. This was one of my bucket list guns. I'm so stoked. I can't wait to shoot it.

 

Not color matched, but the Magpul PRS is really nice on those.

 

Went to the gun store since the wife wanted an AR, she didn't see any ARs she liked but she wanted this little .22lr HK416!

 

I keep thinking about getting one of those

 

We'll see how it shoots tomorrow, it's a pretty sexy little gun especially for being a 22! I've looked at the CMMG kits and other conversions before but always had a mixed feeling so never did it, granted we didn't read any reviews but since this is a factory HK gun I have high hopes it's similarly reliable to the Ruger 22s we have, yet gives the feeling and looks of handling an AR which sounds perfect for plinking!

 

Update, by far the most fun 22 I've shot. Not a single issue today! One retarded thing I noticed is it has an AR looking bolt release but it's completely fake lmao, otherwise all the controls are identical to an AR which is really cool.
