It depends. The high-grade 500's sold to law enforcement are bomb-proof. The low-grade 500's sold at bargin retail outlets (walmart, etc.) have durability issues with the trigger mechanism.

Turns out, you get what you pay for.

I know people poo poo on Kel Tec stuff but they make some pretty crazy guns. That CP33 looks to be a lot of fun.

I've had a PF9, P11, several Sub2k versions and a KSG. The KSG is fantastic.

I am a fan of all guns but kel tec stuff always pulls me in. I was expecting several FTE/FTF as the last few 22 pistols ive shot always had issues. I shot about 500 rounds through it today with only 1x FTF which I believe could have been user error with me being lazy not pushing the round all the way in the magazine. But it was very fun to shoot and very accurate out of the box. I recommend it.

Well although the previous owner did paint the front sight orange I'm a fan of the hi-viz front sight that came factory on my other GP100. So I found it on Amazon and ordered one. Came in today and swapped it out in 30 seconds! Now I gotta wait till Wednesday for the new wood to replace the rubber.

I have the Sub2k, with a few upgrades. Stainless steel feed ramp and hammer bushing, flip mount with a Romeo5, brass bolt, bolt tube cover, Kaw Valley Precision linear comp, and a few others I’m forgetting. I love it, it’s always a talking point at the range.

Ok so I ordered another Hogue monogrip from a different source expecting a different fit for my model 66. Fitment was the same . Long story short I spent the last couple hours shaping it to fit both inside and outside of the grip. Lastly a wax and buff. Now for some pics...
