Can you take some measurements for us if the light bar slot and photos of the back? Wondering if it will be possible/ easy to swap in day a 20in Baja designs bar instead of the toyota one?

Messaged the seller and he responded with this. Sketchy?

Slightly sketchy considering a few of us already purchased these and I doubt he has a shelf of them lying around.

he has 100% positive and I physically have it in my hand so it is definitely legit. Just haven’t tested it to see functionality yet.

could you post a picture of the connection?
Maybe we can figure out a part number and make a wiring harness for it

doesn’t really matter who you order it through at this point. When I ordered on Monday there was only 2 available in the country. I have 1 arriving tomorrow and the second one I ordered by accident is still processing, most likely back ordered though. I got lucky with my first order that I placed on Saturday.

I honestly thought there was only going to be 3 or 4 wires and wire it up like any other led bar, but now I will have to figure out what the other pins do.

I bet it's part of the Toyota system that only turns it on when the high beams are active.

normal light bar wired independently I think you just operate a simple switch

Saw that, but pretty sure that’s the part number for just the connector and they just added the wires. You’ll still have to figure out where all those wires should eventually hook up to.

All I need is to figure out which end I can connect to my positive terminal and which to ground, assuming that it’ll still work that way and doesn’t need to “talk” to the truck.

Is there not a wiring harness already run to the grill that isn't plugged into anything? I know a lot of manufacturers used do things like that; wire every vehicle the same for accessories. Example: The wiring harness for fog lights would be there, but just have no fog lights/housings installed if your vehicle wasn't optioned like that. It used to make adding factory options after the fact a fairly easy thing to do.

I'm guessing someone has looked and nothing's there?

The wiring diagram that ryanwgregg posted tells where each pin goes.

    Pin#
    1. Battery
    2. Semiconductor Power Integration ECU
    3. Sin+ LED illumination switch
    4. SWV+ LED illumination switch
    5. Can+ Network Gateway ECU
    7. Ground
    8. Sin- LED illumination switch
    9. SWV- LED illumination switch
    10. Can- Network Gateway ECU

Makes me wander if just hooking power and ground to a switch will make it even work.

^This....we need to do some checking. There is unused plugs in my SR, but I am unsure if that is for a camera or what. The lack of wiring diagrams available for the platform is annoying.

Is there a schematic that shows wiring diagram by trim? Mainly looking to understand if Toyota used 1 wiring harness for all trims/options.

Assuming that you are getting the TRD grill then absolutely (I did it 2 + weeks ago), the TRD Pro version I can only assume is exactly the same tabs/screw points, etc., just a different front design and of course you have the issue with the camera mount if you have PVM

    2 Things:
    1. Can you take a pic of the back side of the grill? - Curious what the mounting area for the light bar looks like and if I can fabricate something to make an aftermarket light bar to work there.
    2. Do you have a front camera or are you going to cut that camera mount off?

There’s the back. I don’t have a camera, but I plan on keeping the camera bracket in case a 3rd party camera comes to market and I can maybe find a way to mount it there

Connecting the power and ground didn’t turn the lights on. May just install it now and wait for a proper harness to be released later
