    Welcome from NC

Why has no one asked to see a picture and asked about the old green truck on the other side of the tundra?

Sorry for the late reply! That is my 1972 GMC. My grandfather purchased it brand new in March 1972. He passed away at 99 years old and I purchased it from the estate to make things fair to other family members who weren't interested in it. Factory air, dealer-installed cruise control in 1977, 350/350TH, 4-bbl. 98,000 original miles. I had the engine professionally rebuilt and beefed up a little bit in 2013. I have all of the original paperwork with his signatures on them and even the GM Protect-O-Plate and original orange Missouri license plate. It keeps appreciating in value but I have no plans to sell it. The last photo is of us pulling it to a show with my brothers 2013 Tundra. The GMC has 4.11's so it does not like 75mph highway driving!!! It screams. I paid MUCH less than what it is worth today. Ha.

Thanks. I just ordered a Big Tex car hauler yesterday that will be built my mid-March for the GMC and also for my 80-Series Land Cruiser. Used to drive the Cruiser out to Moab each year but we're going to start towing it with the Tundra. It will be a much more comfortable ride than the old '93 Cruiser. Can't wait. Added electric brakes on the 2nd axle of the trailer, upgraded to the heavy-load tires and chose the 2-5/16 forged coupler options. Mine will be "storm gray pearl metallic." Everyone has black! Ha.

    Another welcome from AZ!

I have a buddy that lives there in Columbia. Went to visit him at his alt location in Rocheport then we were @ Lake of the Ozarks a couple of years ago. Hadn't been out that way before but what a beautiful party of the country.
