So I finally completed the initial build of my 2017 MGM Tundra.
I wanted to thank the Tundras.com community for helping answer my questions which helped me decide some of the things on my build.

First day I got the truck and drove it home.

    Pre Debadging.

    Truck fully debadged.
(had some issues with sticker resin after removing driver side vinyl which I buffed out with orbital sander)

    Line X bedliner.

LED reverse tail lights, 3rd brake light and cargo lights from JDM Astar.

LED headlights, fog lights and switchback blinkers.

Rough County LED light bar with switch.

    Driver side grab bar.

6 inch Pro-Comp stage I lift with front and rear pro-runner shocks, Icon billet aluminum UCA, sitting on 18 inch Fuel Neutrons (+1 offset), wrapped in Toyo Open Country R/T 35x12.5, with color matched Bushwacker Pocket Style Fender Flares

Color matched mirror caps and door handles.

Full rust proofing from Ziebart (sorry only took pics of front end)

    Decepticon Tow Hitch Cover

Truck as it sits right now. (forgot to mention protected with Cquartz)

    Plans for the future:
TracRac SR sliding system with ReTrax Pro MX
Chrome delete with color matched front bumper caps and TRD pro grille
    Retrofit headlights
    TRD intake
    TRD exhaust
    AMP research power side steps

Thanks again Tundras.com...will update with more pics when I continue to complete the build.

Used chemical guys VSS and buffed it off with an orbital buffer. You could probably do it by hand.

Well done! I'm new to the Gen 3... did not know that was vinyl wrap on the pillars! Consider that gone soon.

Is that a Diaz Fabrication hitch cover?

The hitch cover is nice and sturdy. The face is plastic with a nice powder coated stainless steel backing. I protected the whole thing with cquartz

Yup vinyl on the pillars. Some guys like it but I decided to remove it. Not sure if you can tell in the pictures but I did have some trouble with the vinyl adhesive on the driver side but buffed it out no problem.

Did you use a heat gun to remove the vinyl? Goo Gone? I like it without the wrap... the wrap looks cheap and I don't understand why they did it if it is finished underneath.

i know they say "to each there own" and all that but i have to admit i cringed a little when i read "decepticon build" but not to worry, it was short lived. after squinting my eyes attempting to find anything transformers related i laughed after seeing there is only a little hitch cover lol.

used a blow dryer and fishing line to remove the badges...came off easily as the truck was brand new. used goo gone after to clean it up, then washed and sealed areas with cquartz. yah the paint underneath is nice. some guys like the vinyl...it does give a nice flow if you do 5% tint all that way around however, 5% on the front windows is illegal here. also vinyl will eventually fade here in Hawaii due to the hot weather so wanted to take care of it right away.
