What’s up, Florida guys and gals? I saw this in my news feed this morning: a request to kill this invasive fish on sight. These can live in water and on land :eek2: , and threaten numerous species in Florida.

Also from China, I’m recently being eaten alive by Aedes mosquitos. They’re tiny, black, and attack in the daytime. WTF!

Anybody else affected by this Chinese invasion?

I am pretty sure we have those mosquitos here in NY. Black and white stripes out during the day.

Yep, that’s them. I’ve encountered them twice and both time had a crazy allergic reaction. Topical cortisone and oral Benadryl every 3 1/2 hours, just to function. It’s reminded me how good we have had it here in SoCal, with few bugs.

Good thing for me is mosquitos don't like me but they love my wife. Her and her father get crazy reactions from these mosquitos. When we started seeing them during the day it was weird. We have it bad here with the the blood suckers like the government, ticks, and mosquitos.

Snakeheads are in all the major rivers in VA. My friend catches them all the time.
The FL mosquitos are no joke, especially in the Everglades. They'll turn your clothes black because they're so thick in swarms. The Aedes I encountered everyday as a horse vet in and around Pasco Co. Their bites itch like crazy! Little bastards...

Not cool man. My wife works for the government. And she’s a mosquito.

Yeah, my kid says he’ll ‘never go camping without Mom’. Wherever we go, I draw all the blood-suckers, and everyone else stays comfortable.

    Haha! I’ll try it.

I read that Bogart drank a 5th of bourbon every day while filming The African Queen and was the only one on set that didn’t get bit. So, that’s my plan going forward. :p
