For sure, I’ve had to use it 3 times in 2 years....beginning to think I’m cursed on tire issues! I hope it stops!

Bummer! Out of curiosity were yours P rated or LT?

I’ve been running these on my land cruiser for 20k miles. They are an excellent tire! They will be going on the tundra when the stockers wear out. I had run duratracs prior and was looking for something that weighed a little less and was a little less noisy and still looked aggressive. Pleased with performance in all conditions and can barely tell they are worn after 20k. 10/10 would recommend

They were P rated so maybe that had something to do with the sidewall being soft but they also took out chunks of tread on some easy rocky trails. Seems like people like them in the LT but in the P rated no bueno for me.

That might explain the soft sidewall. I’ve been happy with the LT. Similar experience for me with the P rated Coopers I had prior, sidewall was soft so truck felt swishy and all over the road, tread didn’t chunk though. Good to know for at least this brand/model go LT. Unlikely on the truck I’ll ever go with P rated again though honestly

Circling back around, were your tires P rated or LT? Seems most all positive feedback is from the LT. I didn’t realize these even came in a P rated till I looked closer.

They were P rated. I bought them when they first came out so I dont remember if they had the LT or I didnt pay attention but I got the P rated. This is an old picture but they chunked really easy. 20190903_174400.jpg

These tires are purely awesome in the snow. So far best A/T tire I have ran in the snow. My only gripe is they are stone magnets. I had a gravel driveway till we moved and driving out the first 15 miles once on blacktop was all the stones clearing out. And they will pick up big ones not just pebbles. Feel bad for the guy driving behind for the first few miles....but we moved and no longer have gravel so theres that....I have 285/70r17 and they "feel" heavy on the truck. Definitely takes a little more grunt to get them going. But once they are they are smooth and have a nice growl to them. 2 took quite a bit of weight to balance and the other 2 barely took any.

@kparrow are you 100% stock suspension? I'm looking to run this same size tire (275/70) on my stock OR 18" wheels. Everything I've seen says you can run this size with stock suspension and no issues with rubbing. Has that been the case with these?

Do you think they would still fit fine without the spacers?

I'm running the same size on my OR wheels (no spacer), only had minor rubbing on the skid plate but I just bent that out of the way.

    UPDATE!
Still running tires and loving them. Road noise is good, very quiet, wearing very well. Was wearing the middle a little more than edges in the rear at my last rotation cause I forgot to drop the rears back down to 45 after towing my camper here from the move. No big deal and it has been corrected. Took minor weight to rebalance. Still very pleased!

Old post, but I was just looking though this thread again to see if anyone else had experienced the same as me, as I’m looking at needing a new set of tires again and was thinking about giving them another shot. Mine were LT’s in 275/65/18 that I had tried.

I have them in 275/60/20 and they are SL rated.
    Been very happy with them..
Going from D-rated KO2s in the same size, the ride and wet traction is much better with the Goodyears.

Miles on them? Any change in fuel economy? No tread water warranty on these, but I’ve never bothered with that warranty since you usually have to run them down below 3/32’s..
