    Yep. USMC but was a civilian contractor in PI after I got out of the Marines. Lived in Makati, Baguio City, and Batac. While in Makati I got to see up close and personal the "Peoples Power" rise up. Interesting times indeed. My 2 kids are 1/2 Filipino. Daughter born in Pasay City.

    Oh wow, history live in person! No was already here in Calif. and actually haven’t been back since I got here as a child. I would’ve but most of our family is already here, not a lot left in the PI and you know how hard it is to go back and not have a TON of gift boxes for pasalubong from the States! But I will go back one day, even as a tourist lol
