Anything but Falkens, although I see it's too late now.

They're OK if you live in a warmer climate and rarely leave the pavement.

They'll chunk apart if it gets below freezing and you're on a less than perfect surface.

I realize this is just one example, but a friend of mine put a set on a brand new Sierra 1500 and they wore terribly unevenly. Alignment was checked and triple-checked. Tires were rotated at 5k miles and didn't make it to their second rotation before being replaced. Terribly loud and had a persistent vibration.

Couple his experience with my own personal experience of their street tires being less than acceptable (ZIEX 912 and 950), and I won't touch em. 3/3 times i had up close experience with a Falken tire they were poor quality when compared to a competitor.

They gained traction as a bargain tire and kind of stuck in these communities. Maybe they have improved in the last 2-3 years but ill just have to take your word for it. I think there are far better options in the same price range.

I would always pick KO2s over Wildpeaks. Coopers are always better than Falkens. Toyos are always better than Falken. Even Mastercraft tires, which are a Cooper brand, are a better option.

the ko2 are sweet, but i thought they were crazy loud. im on second set of wrangler all-terrain adventure with kevlar. not quite as beefy but much less road noise and never had a snow or boat ramp issue with traction.
