If I bought the programmer at $190 then each sensor at $28 each I'm into it for $302. Toyota sensors are $58 each so $232.

Are there any aftermarket sensors that have there own ID numbers and are not clones?

So I plan to use OEM sensors for my scs sr8 wheels for my 2021 sr5 that originally came with steel wheels.

can anyone direct me which one I need?

I plan to order online as my dealership won’t price match and are asking $119 per sensor (in didn’t get a price to program). I just want to make sure I get the right one as most online sources don’t confirm which will work for a 2021.

Also when asking then dealership, they don’t seem super confident identifying which sensor I need since I had steels and now have a/m alloys.

Toyota part # 4260706030 is for 2020 and up SR5 for aluminum wheel without push start. There was a dealer online on Toronto that was selling them for $38 cdn. Best price I found.

Do give a call to the dealer your buying from to verify. They should ask for the VIN.

Yup, I called and I was told there are 7 different TPMS for this truck
The part #4260702050 i was given isn't even for a Tundra - parts guy didnt really want to assist obviously:cool:
I provided the 3 part #s above and was told those are applicable but he could not pinpoint which one of the 7 would work for my a/m wheels.

I just dont want to get stuck providing my own factory TPMS that might be the incorrect one and having to deal with the hassle of re-doing it over and over until its right.
At the same time, I don't want give them a blank check

    I'll call another dealership lol:eek2:

Let me know what you find out. I know they list two different sensors for the same year and depends on if you have smart key or not.
The ID numbers on mine are 7 digits. The older ones are 8 digits.

I got tired of look for the sensors and parts departments not knowing which one so I took my sensor out to get the part number. The 2020 Tundra SR5 with aluminum rims uses part number 426070C091.

I did try to install the steel wheel sensors in the aluminum wheels and it wouldn't work. I shaved the tabs down to bring it in better alignment but still a no go. I could have flipped the sensor but I didn't want the hassle of trying to mount the tire with the sensor sticking out.

    Steel wheel sensor on right.

I did find some on Amazon that had the same part number and look identical to mine. They even have the TWR logo just like the OE. The cost was less than half of the OE sensors.

My dealership gave me the same number, so that must be it?
