Hey guys i bought some rb20s bedliner sprayed finish and didn’t like how they looked installed but my left some running board came with a slight chip of the bedliner finish and company didn’t wana take them back since they were installed.. I payed 750 for both, selling just the left side for $100 no brackets. If anyone is interested let me know.

Got them installed but it's too dark for decent pics. I'll get some tomorrow.

Boards are awesome but I'm not thrilled with the brackets. One of the best things about the RB20 is it sits up nice and tight with the body of the truck, and these don't, at all. I left everything loose and shoved them up as high and close to the body as possible and there's still a significant gap that I can't unsee.

Gonna email them and see if maybe they sent me the wrong brackets or something. :(

Ah crap, that sucks. I wonder why they wouldn’t just use the same bracket as the regular ones?

Yeah I had problems with the brackets and adjusting them tighter to the body, that’s why I pulled them off.

I had RB20s on my 2017 for almost 2 years. I loved them. My 3 yrear old could climb in easily and i liked the door ding protection. Just took the predators off my pro and will order a set for it.

I just installed RB20's on my truck. I am also disappointed by the long brackets. I was expecting a flush fitment.20220219_152758.jpg

Are these the thinner ones? I had regular rb20 on my 2017 and they were tight to the rocker. What changed?

Oh man, I hope they sent you the wrong brackets. I can't imagine that is their intended fitment. Have you reached out to GoRhino?

Yeah, almost looks like the made the boards narrower, but used same brackets, therefore moving the slim out from the body vs. up against the body like the original width.

I haven't reached out to AutoAnything or GoRhino yet. I might try adjusting them again this weekend, although I don't think there is anything I can do to make them flush.

The wife is happy, though. It is much easier for her to climb into the truck. :)

2021 Pro!! Nitto’s Tyger blades, Arc audio!
If I had known they were making them like this. That’s one of the reasons I returned them. Did not like them sitting against the rockers!! Are they adjustable to move just a tad closer?? I like that gap opening. Everyone has there preference. That’s why I went with the Tyger steps. Sure could use a couple of angle pics.

Yeah that's odd. Looks like the slimmer ones are using the same brackets, which eliminates the flush fit. You would have thought they would have changed the brackets, given the change in width of the board. Given the fitment, they essentially stick out from the truck the same amount as the regular RB20s, which I thought was the whole point of the slim ones. Someone else in this thread mentioned the same issue. Thanks for posting a pic though, I've been waiting to see what they look like.

Those look more flush than mine. Hopefully I can adjust them to look like yours.

I'm hoping and betting that they sent you the brackets for the original RB20's. What your picture shows doesn't match GoRhino's description on their website. Their description says these "fit tighter to the cab" and "sit tight against the cab." I'd reach out to them.

What did you end up paying for them? I keep seeing mixed prices from 475-635 for the crewmax ones.

Yep, this is pretty much what my slims looks like too. Not thrilled at all with the fitment. Still waiting to hear back from Go Rhino. Their R&D folks originally just told me I need to adjust them to get them to sit closer. They won't budge even a millimeter closer to the truck than this.

He's got the full size that fit like that. We've got the slims that are still a work in progress apparently. :(

Damn, the slim ones are slim in the wrong places. I expected it to be tucked against the body like the regular ones, just not protrude as much. Definitely curious to see if they revise the brackets.

I paid $650 for mine....I had to shop around and found a business close to me that shipped them for free and hooked me up with a military discount too. I got lucky. Goodluck finding the right ones. Extreme terrain has a decent deal right now too with $50 off. Maybe try them?

Can someone do a door ding fitment test? Have another vehicle park next to you and see if their door gets stop by the rb20 before it actually touches your door?
