I went to wipe off the grime from the label to read it - I had baby wipes in the truck. Just a PSA for everyone - apparently when you wipe the label on the optima yellow top battery it literally erases the information off of the label.....

Put a meter on it if you have one. I find that my Pioneer readings are different than what my SG3 shows.

Oh sorry; thanks man. I ordered the voltage booster pro. Just felt better about that option. But I did build one of the gm diode contraptions. Not going to use that so whoever wants it, I will ship for free

I just installed the voltage booster pro. Started the truck before the install and voltage was 13.0. After install with switch on low it boosted to 13.7 volts

I use a GM diode with my pair of Odyssey batteries, but also added Solar to my canopy roof to keep my batteries happy with the beer fridge running 24/7/365.

Odyssey batts like a specific charge, which I programmed my solar charger to deliver. So far, so good!

Pretty overcast today and crap weather for a week, but still makes plenty of power to maintain my system with good voltage that my batteries love.
