Look great man! You just had a shop powder coat the TRD wheels that came with it? I have the same truck...

I actually got rid of the wheels that came with the truck, then decided I liked them in black so I bought a cheap set of Craig's list and had them powder coated. Wasted a little bit of money but oh well

Finally got new suspension. King 2.5 w/ resis front and rear with TC UCAs. Wanted to try and install these myself, but the friend I had who has the garage and tools to get the job done kept having things come up and after sitting on the suspension for two weeks I finally just took them to a small off road shop here in Southern California and had him do. Had the front set at 3" and it was $500 out the door for everything which is a great price and it's always good to help a small business.

(these pics are after I got my wheels I know...)

After I got the new suspesnsion I visited my parents who recently moved to St. George to enjoy the rest of their retirement. Put the suspension through a little testing and couldn't be happier with how it performed. Drove out to Toquerville falls and then just took some random trails. I learned a few things: if I'm off roading alone I shouldn't get too brave with the lack of recovery gear and lack of experience I have, and I still have a lot of work to do on my truck... beat the crap out of my stock skid, managed to break my passenger side mirror (had some stickers from King to keep it on for the ride home), and got a plenty of scratches. All in all it was an awesome time and St. George is  I'm glad my folks moved now I can visit regularly.

Installed toytec shackles in the rear. These went on pretty easily even for someone who isn't too handy like me... only problem was I couldn't get the stock bushings out and didn't have a torch to burn them out. So for now the poly bushings are sitting in my glove box until I get a torch and do it at a later date. Truck looks so much better with a slight rake (set at 1") and the ride quality didn't suffer much or at all in my opinion.

It was time to upgrade the wheels and tires. I had my heart set on some methods, but after looking around I decided I wanted to get some wheels that I hadn't seen on other trucks. Decided on the Icon six speeds which being 17" is a plus for tire options. Also went with gunmetal to mix it up since black on white, while it looks good, is on pretty much every truck. Wrapped them in 315/70 BFG KO2s. Pretty happy with how they look.

Only rubbing was mud flaps. No cab mount chop needed.

    Great looking truck, cuz!
Cool pics at the falls. Gonna have to check 'em out if I'm ever around St George again. Doesn't look like many people go there.

Don't have many pictures to throw up right now but picked up an SDHQ front bumper with top hoop and side skids, SDHQ sliders, SDHQ abs guards, and SDHQ a-pillar mounts for future lights. It was an expensive week.
