    Our dog would pick up on stuff quite a bit and we always just thought he was crazy til the ghost became active. Also my sister was very young and never said a word about stuff she saw and heard, then when we all started talking about it, she blurts out "yeah that's the ghost it's been here a long time". Shes fearless lol and apparently always was. There were a few scary things it did and no one wanted to be home alone, nothing harmful though just spooky. Then it went away as quick as it came.

    If I saw a spider then that would be the game plan. Otherwise I will let the spirit be.

    On another note, I had my wife call the manufacturer of the Mamaroo. They said they have never heard of a malfunctioning unit turn itself on before.
    They did say it could be a bad wall plug because of the power outage we had the other night (first I heard of said outage).

    I will monitor it and update later.

    So after I posted this thread we took the mamaroo and stashed it away in our spare room. A few days ago my wife brought it back out and put it back where it was originally. It has been fine and had not been on except when we turned it on itself..

    Last night at about 2am our bedroom door randomly blew all the way open from being cracked only a few inches. My wife looked scared and concerned so I grabbed my suppressed Beretta and got up and looked outside our bedroom to make sure no one was in the house (we’re somewhat paranoid of break ins). Didn’t see anything so I laid back down. A few seconds later she got up and shut the door all the way because it seemed like it didn’t want to stay cracked open like we like it. It was like the door kept blowing open even though the HVAC was not on and no windows were open. A MINUTE OR TWO LATER THE MAMAROO BABY ROCKER TURNED ON. It was plugged in all day with no issues or “accidental” start ups.

    This thread is a big ole "NOPE" for me.

    My dad grew up in a haunted house. The ghost was a bit of a playful joker though. My dad and Uncle have both worn glasses from an early age and shared a room, with their beds against opposing walls. The ghost would spin their beds around so they'd walk into the wall when they got up in the morning to search for their glasses. It would untie his mom's apron strings while cooking, re-arrange the furniture if it didn't like how it was done, that sort of thing.

    My dad drove school bus for a while, and drove the route by his childhood home, and noticed that a girl in my class lived there. So I casually asked her one day "How do you like your house" and she just paused and got a really confused look on her face, "......why?". I asked her if anything weird ever happened there, and of course it did, all the time.
