LOL. I'm not sure if I'd know how to use it. Would I need to learn how to design stuff on AutoCad or Solidworks in 3D and then feed the information to the machine and have it to its magic? I have not quite connected the dot.

I wired a shop for a guy that was building lowers from scratch. He was pretty into it, bought big lathes and drill presses and what not. It seems like a large investment to build something you can't ever sell or give away without committing a felony.

There used to be plans on the net that you could build from.

Fusion 360 seems like the go to for the geeks I know that design hobby stuff.

Being this is a basic CNC it should use G-code. You could get a software like CADCAM that would allow you to take an AutoCAD or Solidworks file and convert to G-code. But that’s about as dangerous as I can get, might want a resident CNC programmer or Mechanical Engineer to chime in to correct me. EE is more my cup of tea.

Sounds like I better stick with basic hand tools.
