I picked up my new red armrest today. Had it reupholstered to color match seats.I figure I would try to put a wireless charger into it but after about an hr of playing with It my phone just wont charge unless I take my case off. And I would rather plug my phone in like a caveman than take the case off so this is what I came up with..

    20190716_150553.jpg

Still wanted the wireless so I just mounted it on top. Not exactly the look I was going for but I will leave it here awhile to see if I like it before trying something else

The problem I ran into is my phone is huge (galaxy note 9)and doesnt sit flat on that spot with the case on unless I push down on it. if you have a smaller phone that fits in that spot or dont use a phone case it works perfect

Yea same size not gonna happen. Only other options with enough room are in front of the shifter and what I am thinking of trying next time I tear my dash apart is the flat spot ontop of the dash in the very center. But not sure if there is going to be enough room inside of the dash we will see.

So I was trying not to get 37s anytime soon because I have less than 5k on my 35s.. well turns out I'm not very good at waiting for the tread to wear down to justify buying bigger tires so I went to go order new 37s today. I arrive at my local tire shop and ask if they have 37 toyo mt in stock. No. They can order them tho they can be here middle of next week. Perfect! Then she says do you want 37 or 38...

If they would fit I probably would have lol. For now if I want to see an MGM on 40s I will just creep on @SullyMoto19 build page. For now I think 38s will hold me over well enough. Although few months ago I thought 35s would suffice?

    20190803_082342.jpg

    20190803_093858.jpg
Total install about 2 hours only because I had no directions and of course couldnt get it lined up the first 5 tries but overall simple install only need a size 14 socket an impact gun and some scraped knuckles. Compared to the magnaflow I'm very happy with the sound just need to find time to weld everything in place so I can remove the clamps it comes with to bolt on.

And as it turns out it still fits in the garage! Just dont rock it. Or sneeze or let the wind hit it because it's close. Still wont be parking in there with my luck I will run over a pebble and it will hit.
Plus having 38s put on this week then theres no way it will fit. Unless someone comes up with a BMC for garages ha :sawzall:

So I welded on the exhaust today got rid of the clamps.. dont mind my crappy welds or the welding wire I left on the welds. I weld at a 4th grade level but good enough to get by.Also not a photographer haha
Still need to re paint to cover up my bad welds

Thanks man! And there still there. Few different flowmaster setups magnaflow and couple off brands but killer deals and if you can put a hands on puzzle together it's a relatively simple install! The clams work I just didnt like the looks of them or that I couldnt get the tips out far enough for the clams to work so I welded finished product myself. Now tips show enough for my liking

Looks great man.. Im jealous of even the "4th grade level" of welding lol I need to teach myself to do cool shit like this. Other than the exhaust tip on my truck, I have yet to change any other parts of the exhaust.

I'm enjoying it that's for sure!

    Thanks i appreciate it.

Haha glad someone likes it. Trick is find someone with a nice welding setup that likes to drink. Just show up with there drink of choice then you have until that beer/bottle if gone to run threw there spool of wire to teach yourself! Problem solving

I love them more comfortable seat than cloth get complimented everytime someone sees them.. only issue is from the old lady she has to keep a towel under passenger seat because she likes to wear shorty shorts and bikinis and the leather burns her cheeks.. but that makes me laugh and doesnt affect me in any way lol

do they go over the cloth, or do you remove the cloth then install? been wondering if I should bite the bullet and snag some. but also heard installs were a pain in the ass

Cloth removed. And that was a project I wouldn't attempt because I know myself and would definitely rip something and regret it. Found leather on Ebay under 600 then had 20% off coupon so 4 something then 450 for install. Under 1000 total
