Does anyone experience this often? I just recently picked up my truck. Yesterday I was doing ~60mph on the highway and it was slightly windy outside. I noticed my truck excessively swerving left and right. I had to constantly center my truck. I was a bit surprised as I thought bigger trucks wouldn't move so easily. Anything I can to do reduce this in the future? I have looked at the TRD rear sway bar many of you have purchased, but it seems most of the feedback about how it handles pertains to turning on corners and such.

I’ve been in many up armored military vehicles, with high winds the damn vehicles weigh tons and still rocks to the wind, it’s normal.

Just wanted some input from you guys. I know its probably a dump question but I am very new to trucks. I have only driven sedans since I was 16 and just assumed trucks would be less susceptible to movement from wind.

We have strong winds here and it can still move the truck around. Mother Nature is a beast at times.

Normal. Just had that issue this afternoon driving home. Not the most aerodynamic vehicles.

How fast was the wind blowing? I’ve driven in many windy days don’t recall having to center the truck. I would drive 77mph.

Other way around... In a cross wind you have more surface area while still having similar contact to the ground as a car (tires)

That’s it?! Driven in winds 40+ mph, no issues here. Must be a white truck thing. Wind thinks it’s a cloud and just throws it around :D:D

He meant 15-20mph in slower colored Tundra winds.
You see, it’s complicated to convert slow colors to fast ones, such as white.

Good idea. What do I tell highway patrol though? Alternative is to get my girlfriend in the truck during windy days.
