    How much runout/wobble do you have in your pulley?
    Here's what mine looks like.

    Virtually none... but I'll double check in the morning when I top off the coolant.

    Did you put the pulley on with the serpentine belt under tension? As I read through parts of Whipple's instruction manual the other night, I noticed that they want you to lock out the belt tensioner then put the pulley on and tighten it down. I did it that way this go round, but when swapping pulleys in the past, I just move the belt off the SC pulley before swapping, then loop it over the already-installed pulley while wrenching on the tensioner.

    I'd take tension off of the belt and remove the pulley for inspection. Turn the shaft by hand and see if it has some wobble. My bet is there's just some uneven tension on the pulley and mounting surface.

    If i recall, the instructions said to hand tighten the pulley, put on the belt, release tension and then tighten to 118 in/lbs....or thats at least what i did.
    I also dont trust my in/lb torque wrench...i think its really easy to go past the click. I might grab a digital torque adapter just so i can see it visually. I did try putting my ft/lb torque wrench to 10 ft/lb (close enough) but got scared about stripping it out.

    I probably will figure out how to release tension and then tighten them again by myself.

    Agreed something like wrong. Breaker bar on a 14mm and crank the tensioner and have someone pull the belt off the top side (or you might be able to jam the breaker bar on the sway bar and lock it out). Pop pulley off, make sure there isn't any shit between it and the mating side of the blower, and then throw it back together. Some lock tite and some feel good torquing and you're set, I wouldn't be overly worried about needing a torque wrench on those bolts (but if you don't have a good feeling for how tight a bolt can get, then use the torque wrench. I would then spin the blower by hand and visually see if it's wobbly. Looks to me like the pulley isnt seated and there's some shit on the backside making it sit cock eyed.

    You should be able to get the bolts pretty tight just holding the pulley with your hand. As long as they're all pretty snug so you know it's seated well, then let tension back into the belt and then do final tightening if required.

    That should work. I just wanted to make sure you did have enough tension on the belt to kick the pulley off to the side before trying to snug down the bolts. I've done that with a fan pulley on a different vehicle. Just make sure the pulley is seated on the hub.

    It seemed strange that they would have you torque the bolts AFTER releasing the tensioner....but I just double checked and thats what it said. I'm hoping that I dont have to take the belt off, it was kinda a bitch to get on (i may have had the sliding tensioner too far over).
    I'll try taking tension off and taking a look around. i doubt there's anything stuck behind it, but a possibility.

    naw, that belt is TIGHT and i made sure it was seated on all the pulleys before releasing the tension.
