Couple updates here. Congrats to @texasrho83 who is joining this group of misfits lol. He's taking my whipple 2.9 and I'll be moving to @blenton gen6 3.0. Plans to start off with the 3.0 pulley and see how it does with the motor package etc. Should be plenty of power for the use case. We chatted yesterday on the fuel system a bit and interesting thing we talked about was dual pumps and whether or not it actually flow too much for the small basket? I'll be moving to the 880cc injectors and billet rails etc as well.

that Prospeed and @Winks4x4Toy solution with the reservoir/surge/secondary tank does seem like an interesting idea, though I'm not sure how well it would work without the MOTEC controlling the additional pumps. Taking the edge off the demand makes sense to me, and probably helps alleviate your concern, even if it is only a single pump in each. Maybe? IDK, just throwing a thought out there.

Really can't wait to see your build come together. Be nice to not have to worry about the power plant and to shrink the risk landscape down to just the trans.

Oh! And kudos to all of you guys being able to make things work regarding the buys/sells/swaps

Man. Sucks being in the middle of trying to sell my house but wanting to get the truck stuff going...I'll have reach out to the forum members when it's time to search for a new SC with engine build.

I guess not in Ludicrous mode Model S P90Ds aren't that fast. Just pissed one off coming into my community. He zipped between speed "humps", I kept up until finally I went around 'cause I don't need to practically stop for them.

He even had a preparing for Ludicrous Mode plate frame & the plate was a pained attempt at Ludicrous. lol

    bwahaaaaa

The Tesla Model S P90D was a performance-oriented, all-wheel-drive electric sedan featuring a 90 kWh battery and "Ludicrous Mode" for extreme acceleration, achieving 0-60 mph in around 2.8 seconds with a combined 762 hp output.Launched around 2015-2016, it was known for its fast, quiet operation and the benefits of free lifetime Supercharging, though it requires a specific adapter for newer fast-charging stations.

Welp DW300 and DW650 injector ordering moved up. I'm going to have to drop the fuel tank to bolt up my forward hangers for the traction bars, so might as well swap out fuel pump while I'm at it. It's okay to run the bigger fuel pump with my stock maggie injectors, basically fuel not needed will go down the return until i get smaller pulley and injectors installed and a tune correct?

You’ll want a tune for the bigger injectors as they do inject more fuel per squirt than the factory ones which will cause some running issues.

not to piss in anyone's cereal...but

    a P90D is
    3.2sec 0-60
    2.8 in Ludicrous.

    11.5 1/4 mile.

it would be tough for ANYTHING to beat that sexy ole sedan.

think about that....it's 10 years old.

Just doing the fuel pump as I have to remove tank to bolt up the forward brackets for my traction bars. Will wait to install the injectors until I'm ready.

    Here's a 1900 body for $2100:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/396995370011

I'd be tempted to get it for the GX, but it's kind of a shame to have two vehicles with derpy blowers

A gutted 1900 supercharger could make a pretty decent boost ready manifold for a turbo guy on a budget.

I was literally looking at it wondering how well it would work. I don't know enough about it, and I wasn't necessarily thinking gut/seal/install, but I'm curious what the smaht guy @snivilous says.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Hell you could have a second intercooler if you wanted too  I wasn't lying when I used it as a metaphor the other day hahaha

    No. lol

I have no reason nor desire to run more lines and add any additional fluids anywhere near my intake or combustion chambers ever again. I'd just be looking for a pre-formed manifold and I'd try to get every port on the thing sealed off. More intercooler... wtf is wrong with you people? I can barely fill a glass of water without puckering and it's been 8 months.

It works- gutted Eatons etc were done on the cobras and the TT ford gt's many moons ago. Before Sullivan came out with a manifold for them.
