You will also need a larger fuel pump than the Magnuson for larger injectors, I forget if you upgraded that already, but the Magnuson pump is exactly sized for the Magnuson injectors and will limit even the 650s from their full potential.

76mm on a Maggie 2650 is pretty saucy at sea level IMO. That would be like me running a 71mm on my Harrop keeping in mind that they measure them differently. I currently have the 77.5mm on my Harrop which is most similar to an 81mm on the Maggie and I see 9ish psi max. Injector duty cycle on a boost referenced 50psi FPR is also 85%+ on DW650s. My gauge also doesn’t log split second boost spikes like the innovate does either, I’m talking a consistent 8.5-9psi at WOT. I also wouldn’t consider a momentary boost spike the same as the max boost you should expect to see on the regular.

That's not much over a stock supercharger though, unless I'm getting my numbers mixed up. Stock is like 7psi and you're seeing 9psi, not a big step up. If he wants to see a consistent 10+ psi I think the 76mm is a good idea, and I think the engine can handle that if you're not holding full throttle for minutes on end. If you're sprinting up to interstate speeds and stop light racing I think that should be reliable.

True, I guess it’s all relative. Stock on the Harrop is 6.5psi. In the winter I’ll see 10 on cold days. A 2.5psi increase sounds minor, but 9psi over 6.5psi is a 38% increase. Figure 20-25hp gain per psi. It’s sizable. If towing a lot, or wanting something you can truly drive WOT without sweating bullets and enjoy all of the power it has to offer in relative peace I think it starts to be risky beyond that. I’ve seen plenty of blown engines on the various media platforms with larger pulleys to make me feel perhaps a bit more conservative than others might. It’s not for me to determine what juice is worth the squeeze though for somebody else. Just giving my opinion. Boost away boys! Oh, and use those dragys!

I'm wanting a smaller pulley for when we take the truck skiing, it'll be nice to have more than 3psi when i'm at 10K feet. :D

I mostly enjoy the boost partial throttle and do not hold WOT unless merging or f'n with tow bro's or modded out civics. Trust me stock the maggy gets this heavy truck up to three digits speeds without much effort, which becomes scary. Hopefully i can limit top speed with the HP tuner, my yotawerx tune is not limited at all, which is fine for me, but not for my teenage sons.

This is the first time I've heard of this. My 2019 is indeed NOT a flex fuel truck. I would be pissed. What are the smoking over there lately?

I looked up the injectors for flex fuel and they start at 03/09 and change part numbers along the way until the TTV6 arrived.
You can get FF 3URFBE or non FF 3URFE All the way up until they stopped making the 5.7
I totally agree with you, they are smoking something

With a good fuel system and tune you could realistically be ok at 12psi. You can limit the top speed with HPT.

I saw 12.3 in the winter with the sniv 2.2, went 2.3 because the builder said over 10 he won't give me a warranty :( It's 110+, have not seen over 6.8 so far.

And you had your rings opened up a few thousandths for added protection. At least you know you got a reliable build after all you've been through.
