They look pretty similar and the vibrant has I think 3 different sizes to control the amount of exhaust to be read by rear O2.

What’s the consensus on these in terms of cooling? I suppose additional fluid capacity never hurts. The fins should also help. Anyone with evidence these are helping decrease pan/converter temps?

Also, did you use the gasket it comes with? Or seal with something else?

Don’t expect 100* drops. I wasn’t monitoring the tundra but my last Cummins I saw ~15-20* drop fairly consistently with a similar pan. I attributed it more to the additional capacity and not the fins.

I have the PML and have temps 165-180, occasionally 190 with some wot pulls. But I don't have the warming puck or factory T-stat. I have a 165 deg t-stat.
Hopefully someone who has it with the traditional setup will chime in.
Seals with cork gasket or RTV. I used the gasket. Can't use factory gasket unless using B&M large pan.

I used the cork gasket with a fine coat of the toyota FIPG (orange).
I'm a modaholic and love to tinker. I figured since we tow, it cant hurt. My t-stat is pinned open.
I'll start watching the trans temp soon.
