That's what I have in the bumper, this is under the lid on the SC body.

@e30cabrio Only one size for the 1900 SC. You'd have to upgrade to the 2650 to get a larger SC intercooler brick. But the outside intercooler can be as big as you can fit.

Any radiator shop should be able to fix it if it's leaking. If you can find one...

For the price of the tank...you'd think it would be bit better. You could always tig weld a aluminum filler neck with low psi cap. Hmm. Selling it:rolleyes:

I got that cheap .66gal tank to fit. It's not much but at leat it's better than the 16 oz tank. Holds 3x's the amount with a pressure cap. And I didn't have to monkey a bunch of crap to make it fit.

Here's what I have, it seems like it is the seal between the intercooler and body. Can I use RTV until the new seal comes?

I wouldn't see why a small bead of permatex wouldn't work but it's going to be a bitch to remove all small peices once it sets.

BLOODBATH! J/K...you could use RTV, but I'd be concerned with using too much, and having issues with excess possibly coming off and going through the engine, and you'd likely have difficulty removing the IC in the future if needed. Can't you just drive the BMW until you receive the seal and o rings?

The recess must be an installation flaw, no idea, I'm going to give it a light dusting of Right Stuff where the depression & leak appears to be & if my Amazon zillion O ring kit has these sizes will put them in. I paid more for shipping to get the seals from JonB than the seals (26/32) so will have them soon.

The Bronco is still in the shop & thanks to Progressive taking 25 days to approve the work, I had to return the rental yesterday. We only have the Sequoia & BMW right now & my wife needs the Sequoia to go to her office in the morning.

The Sequoia and Tundra T-Cases are of two totally different manufacture. I think the Sequoia is an Aisin and the Tundra has a Borg-Warner. That results in some electrical hurdles as well.

The 2008-2021 Aisin Sequoia T-case will fit into 2007-2013 Aisin equipped Tundras. Tundras were equipped with the Borg-Warner T-case from 2014-2021.

So the brick is okay and it's one of the o-rings in the top plate that are suspect? The large rectangular seal is just for air-to-air compartmentalization right? Hot air entering and cooled air entering the engine, correct? The rectangular seal, the o-rings and the brick are getting replaced to cover all the bases, am I understanding correctly?

I ordered the O-ring and seal kit yesterday. Just opened it up this morning. The brick has no leaks or damage. I replaced the O-rings with temporary ones and lightly RTV'd the rectangular seal where the depression is and above 7-5-3.

Ambient is 95, how long should I let it set before firing it up?

What does the RTV say for cure time? I'd go by that.

Could not find the Right Stuff, used Toyota FIPG. Says where it came from but not curing time.

1-2 hours before starting engine, fully cured in 15-16 hours, good choice going with that!

I don't have to go anywhere today & if I do I'll take the BMW, hopefully leaving it overnight will help. Does the fact it will likely be 110+ help?

Give it two hours and try it out so no surprises in the morning, should be fine. Don't think the temp will affect it, I'd melt in that heat though...

Here is how it sits, have not put the coolant back, drained out almost a gallon.
Viktor's hole is to the right of the filler, the sort of white area.

I'd be more suspect of the inlet/outlet o-rings leaking if the IC brick is good.

I replaced them with Amazon knock offs & will replace all of it with the JonB parts when they come, hopefully Wednesday, didn't realize it did not include that big seal.

Could bevthe pic? I've never replaced that IC seal. On mine it's almost like it's molded in or something as itsvjust an air seal and to hold it in place. Usually replace the inlet/outlet ic bolt and lid seal.

The adventure continues. Waited 2:30, put the coolant in, turned the key, it made super odd noises, stopped cranking and now acts like it has insufficient voltage (sounds like the VR is clicking) it has 12.4 volts, connected a charger with 40 & 200 amp boost, same thing. Ran the codes, it had PO335 crankshaft position sensor, it & all the sensors are under 6 months old, OEM Toyota & there has never been any starting issues. After I cleared it 335 did not come back but the same thing happened, clicks like it does not have sufficient voltage.

I pulled the battery & have it charging at 40 amps. I'm at a loss.
