Hopefully I finish Reys before his dad gets his back is my goal

All of that was from JUST the engine harness of this FJ40 buggy I've been working on

    PXL_20250430_014628980.jpg

And now simplified to just one little look with maybe two dozen wires that are all 18" long or so

    PXL_20250430_014642821.jpg

I've been keeping that bundle of shit just in case I need to fish back through it and find some weird connection, but at this point I'm about ready to throw it all out. Not like there's anything I'd want to reuse from all that gunk. And the inside of the FJ I pulled out probably two or three times as much wiring. Literally hot leads just flying open in the glovebox, wires hand twisted together and duct taped, it just goes on with nasty shit. I'm rewiring the entire vehicle from scratch, and that's just the beginning of the upgrades on it. Could be a whole build thread in itself hahaha

Sorry if this has been covered before. 800+ pages, I'm still searching...
Before I S/C'd the Tundra, I was running an auxillary fan on the condenser like a Sequoia. It really worked well, you could tell the difference in AC temp when I turned on the fan..

Now that the intercooler is there, will adding a fan or 2 help the S/C or even the AC?
The AC is not a cold as it used to be and the system is properly filled and working.
2- 12" fans (Spahl) will fit perfectly on the intercooler..

2 pusher fans couldn't hurt. Just make sure, as I think you do, you got a decent relay.
I burned up an 80amp on my e-fan. Switched to an old Pac 80 amp relay/isolator I had for a stereo. Been working fine.

Been curious about doing this as well. Do you have it on a manual switch, or thermostat? I was musing over programming something like a TR7 or something even simpler to make a timer that activates when I tap a momentary button in the cab, runs the fan for 5 mins or whatever, then turns it off so I don't forget to turn it off.

Perusing their site, they also list an HD kit for the AB60E; the only note attached says it doesn't include a gasket. I'm curious what the difference would be. I also looked at their distributor list and see that my local transmission parts place is on their list. Might have to give them a call tomorrow just out of curiosity.

    Many on the way.
The old kits had the pan gasket included. Pricing on the kit is all over the place from a low of $47, to well over $100, so shop around. IMO, either price is a bit high for the components received, but I suppose it’s also for the knowledge and instructions on how to modify the valve body.

I had the last one on a manual switch, and its still wired in. I just removed the fan when I added the SC and intercooler this time. It's basically already pre wired, I just need to get and mount the fans, and update the relay...

The mock up injector fits like stock, actually the plug is lower and clears better than stock. The plug is different from the stock denso injectors, so cutting and re-pinning of the injector sub-harness will be required, but no big deal there.

I don't have a link, I'll ask if there is one, but I think you can order based on the part number in my screenshot. Or, I would think you can email support@injectordynamics.com and request a sales order for ID1050x-48-11. I'll post up the sales order details...I should receive it today.

Is there any difference between the 2nd gen and 2.5 gen as far as the fuel rails/spacers are concerned? I didn't think there was, but wanted to verify before I tell them the year range so they can update their website.

    I don't believe so. Rey and I both use five O 750's, 2nd and 2.5gen. I also have 2.5gen spare fuel rails.

I'm also ordering new injector harnesses from Toyota, so I can revert easily if needed...I don't expect to, but you never know.

My FI interchiller thernal blanket made it to Tacoma but for some sorting reason is in NJ! Way to go UPS. Glad I didn't pull the SC last week I'd be waiting...

From Texas to Washington by way of NJ? That's some efficient shipping right there!

Been doing some research on machine shops etc. Found out a company in phx works on the 3urfe and can accommodate. Quoted $10.5k with shipping included full forged internals, new crank etc with a 90 day warranty. Said no problem holding 950-1000hp. Turn around time would be 5-6 weeks. I'll most likely pull the trigger on this Q1 or maybe Q4 this year we'll see.
