@reywcms just in case you experience a hard(bang) shift like I did in 5-6. I increased the torque reduction in all cells by 10%. This solved my issue. It mostly happened under light load throttle with the torque converter locked and unlocked. I'm also running my trans cooler at 160 deg. So it does increase the viscosity even more. Wanted to put it out there for thought.

**Well I tried it but it came back. Hard shift under 2k rpm

Oh and it was the Upshift torque reduction table for 5-6.

Edit. It didn't work. Same shifting next day.

Right now I'm straight lined to my cooler. I removed the derale inline thermostat that I had for winter. Decided to pull it when I swapped my pan and fluid. With the 50 deg temps after warm up it sits at 150-160. Will be going with the Improved Racing FSM thermostat with a 145deg pill. Want to target 160-190 deg but will see what summer temps bring.

I think when time allows I’ll be going to 40% concentration on the SC heat exchanger circuit. Should still be good to -15 degrees and give 5-8% better heat transfer. Could do the same for the engine coolant too I suppose.

That's where I'm at now with the red stuff. I don't get too cold temps but wanted that level of protection with some water wetter mixed in for both systems(intercooler).

I see the clearance is pretty good. I’ll be adding mine closer to the merge collector before the cats.

I have mine pretty close to the vband/collector. I kept it within the 18-23 inches from manifold. My cats are actually after the secondary O2's...

Got tired of the five-O 750cc extended starts and ordered the @TurboKits 880cc injectors. Looking forward to it! At least I'll have some good parts when I'm ready to do my built engine.

Let me know how those work-out my extended isn't bad at all but why not move to 850s if they work well.

Will do and @TurboKits is doing some mock ups for some pics of them installed. At least they are a true performance injector and not a modified OEM.
I've changed the ECT air adder, and IC up/down 15% and this winter it either starts right up or halfway through 2nd start cycle. And Five-O says it's the tune...

Curious to hear your experience. I've recommended to multiple people, maybe dozens at this point, to go with the DW650 solely because they seem to be the most reliable (and least janky, the Prospeeds seem reliable too). I just hate how much you have to pay for such a minor increase over the TRD injectors. After you and @Wynnded experience with the 5-0 they're definitely on my never recommend list. Which leaves either small 650s or janky hack around harness with 750s. Hopefully the Turbokit ones like to start and there isn't any tuning issues, and hopefully at 43psi they're a bit smaller so not total overkill for most people.

I asked him about their performance. He had them installed in his 2008 with no issues. That the 880's were smooth handling the low end.
Here's a snippet from my email:
The injectors drop right in and are potted with extension harnesses already soldered into place. They fit just like any factory or aftermarket injector, no modifications required. They are true performance injectors, not modified OEM, so they have amazing control at any duty cycle. Will they solve the long crank issue. Maybe, I had them in our 2008 and it was silky smooth, but I never had any long crank issue with it anyway. I am about to wrap up the 2016 TRD Pro project truck in the next week or 2 and we will be installing the 880cc in it as well. So I don’t want to oversell them as a fix for the long crank, but they are, in my opinion, the best injectors available for the Tundra platform.

I borrowed @Wynnded five-o 750's and had the same issue. And of course his issue was resolved by going with the Prospeed ones. I've only seen a few DW 650's have that issue posted on HPT.

I had the extended starts with the DW650s for a while but sometime in the tuning revisions it was fixed somehow and hasn’t returned.

Do companies just sell the individual S/C's? I haven't really called around yet. Been thinking either Whipple or Harrop when the time comes. I'm not in a position right now but tried searching even for a used one.

Maggy does from the 1.9 to 2650. I’m waiting for colton to hear back from Whipple if the gen6 3.0 is an upgradable option. If so I’ll have a 2.9 available at some point

I was going to ask you if you were planning an upgrade as you just had it serviced...I'm interested. But I'm still planning a move but not many offerings out there in my price.

Harrop used to advertise an upgrade kit for the 1900 to 2650, haven’t seen it advertised lately but I bet if you email
ryan.dinkel@harrop-usa.com or Chris.Mentrup@harrop-usa.com you can find out quick. Magnuson does too as stated, not sure about Whipple.
