EDIT: @Mdl had already answered with a lot of the same details. I just noticed it. Sorry for overlapping on the responses, bud!

No, not yet in this group. Not to my knowledge, anyways.

Sort of but not really. It's been discussed for a few months, researched for longer, and there have been discussions with WAT by multiple members with different reps and there have been no red flags. They are bigger in the Land Cruiser scene, so "new" isn't meaning a new product, just new to this specific group. The group buy is with their sole US distributor.

The WAT website has a fantastic installation video. 1 day is apparently possible as it doesn't look too complicated. If you want to let things drain well before starting, then that would be at least a night before type of deal. Note: shipping weight is 70lbs. These are surprisingly heavy.

As previously answered, the refundable $450 deposit added to the cart automatically.

Nobody has come forward and said they are replacing an IPT or Level10 VB, so this is just another option for us all. I believe you are seeing everyone jump on the deal so quickly because they already knew which direction they were headed and Johnny came in and cleared the barriers everyone had.

    Hope all of that helps.

    My tips for VB replacement:
Slightly tighten pan bolts before loosening by hand, spray PB blaster night before
Long flat piece of metal that bolts to 2 of the transmission housing pan holes and covers the actuator spring holes. Use this to keep the spring assemblies in place while installing the VB, so they don't fall out. You can start a couple of the longer screws on the VB to keep it in place, then remove one screw from the metal brace and swing it out of the way to finish the VB installation.
Use Brake cleaner to clean and fully dry the 3 o-ring bosses in the transmission before applying assembly lube to keep the o-rings in place. Any ATF in there will allow them to fall out during assembly, and your transmission won't work.
I used a transmission jack with the VB on a piece of wood to raise it to the transmission for installation, much easier than trying to hold it and get the screws started, that sucker's heavy.

For all the guys doing this at home you should be able to get it done easily in a day. Pick up some large drip pans because you will make a mess. Also helps to have a second set of hands to remove and install it because they are heavy! Using Vaseline to hold the O-rings in place works well and wont hurt anything.

Talking to a couple places that will make custom metal badges as I was thinking it might be interesting to have something other than the Magnuson badges on the 2650. Below is my idea... waiting for quote

I should have bought a smoke machine a long time ago, this thing is great!

Here is the adapter I made out of some floor mat I had, it's ugly but it did the job. The HPS t-bolt clamp was loose on the intake tube, and one of the barbs under the snout was too small for 3/8" hose, so had to do 5/16" and a couple adapters to the brake booster.

That looks great & I never would have thought of it, I have a ton of car mats going back 5+ cars (I'm that Progressive commercial)

Am I crazy thinking I shouldn't have had to call just now to see what was going on with the Sequoia? He said it was running right on his "test drive" last night, is a 40 mile round trip a simple test drive?

I'm so happy I could scream, hopefully, I'm getting my truck back today.

Not crazy, a little impatient maybe, but I would be the same. He might want to give it one or two quick trips around before calling it good, you never know. Sounds hopeful though, hope it's sorted out and you can put this past you.

I dropped it 12/22, was supposed to be done the second week in January. So.....

Patientce is not a quality I possess in any quantity. It's shocking to all that know me I have held it together this long.

I feel for you and I'm dreading it myself, but honestly, would you rather stare at a plagued vehicle you can't really drive, or would you rather it be gone, getting worked out, and returned corrected? After seeing your donor vehicle, if it comes back still not fixed, then I think you have an issue with the place you got the motor from instead. My fingers and toes are crossed for you!

Anyone else interested in these badges? Price break for additional qty's is massive. If I order 2 for myself, they are $170 each. 5 or more, they are $70 each. 10 or more, they are $34.00 each. LOL. At this point, it would be the same price to order 10, as it would for 2.

I'm confused as to where your question is. Buy your 10, worry about selling the other 8 when you have them in hand.

I found the truck from the vin on the tag when the motor was delivered, they listed it as "A". I'd say the broken solenoids make it less than A by themselves. I don't think the issues are internal because it could never run properly if they were.

I'm 99.999999% sure they messed up the wiring, in their defense there are a shitload of wires.

I'm not interested enough to spend $350 dollars on stinking badges, like most of you. At that price I'll just say thanks for the quote. I'm sure it's the same for all of you. No hurt feelings if no one else is interested

Spoke with an old timer, not sure if i can say that much more, at Napa on their brand of dex 3 atf. Looked it up and is made by Valvoline and non-synthetic with friction modifier package. Said he's heard some overseas transmissions that call for WS run dex3. Once I get the pan from @Cruisers & Co. I'll swap out the WS fluid for dex 3 giving a good drain of all WS. I'll report how it goes.

Seriously losing patience & faith in these guys, how can you mistake the Innovate Bosch wideband sensors for the OEM O2s?

I asked at 4 having not heard anything from them if I can pick it up.

The worst part is Sniv & TK have looked at my logs & said no communication from bank 1 O2 & they keep saying it is fine. I told them the Bosch sensors are for the gauges several times before yesterday.

Me too but I have an engineless car in my garage & didn't have the time/bandwidth for a second. I dropped it 12/22, was supposed to be done the second week in January, thay gave it back about the 24th & it has gone back 3x the next day, 2 it had no gas pedal so it was towed.

Doesn't help, I have had a bad flu for the last 5 days.

The O2 swapped with the wideband wouldn't cause the misfire, but would explain the other codes regarding the O2 sensor voltage as well as any rich/lean codes. Maybe I'm an oddball, but I label the connections I disconnect so I can be sure I don't miss them, and they pair up with another label on the thing I unplugged.

They say the misfire was solved by the injectors. It has had O2 issues all along.

As far as labels, that is what I do, I don't think they didn't connect the O2, I think the wires were damaged.
