They're these really large magnets that attract fridges ...and bearings, so they don't get scattered all over the garage floor.

 

I'll throw in two magnets, and an extra piece of candy

 

I'll buy a pulley (or two) if you throw in a supercharger...

BTW... I not picky, it can be a M1900, M2650, or a even a Harrop

Also, I am having SC withdrawal syndrome. The Turb0 3 cylinder Bronco is no help.

 

Well. New year, same story. Truck is headed back to level10 next week. P2757 has come on fairly consistently. Mileage is down from 14.5 usual mpg to 11mpg with new trans. Thinking the TCC has got to be dragging or something strange. SLU solenoid sticking? Who knows. It drives perfect. Zero complaints. Feels like the TCC locks and unlocks when it should. But obviously the ECU is seeing something different. I’ve put about 1200 miles on it and have gotten the code 5 times in the last 250 miles.

Will update once I know more. Getting tired of all this

 

I wish I could hear mine at all. These Harrops are damn near silent.

That really blows. Seems like all these built transmissions arent worth the hassle and expense

 

Have you tried disabling flex lock? Is it shuddering? P2757 is an issue. Some get lucky with no code...

 

Have not tried disabling flex lock. No shutter. Drives perfect. Just throws a code.

 

Damn that sucks to hear. How many chances do you give them until you ask them to please take their transmission out, give a refund and put your core in the bed and ship it to IPT. Or buy a Toyota reman?

 

Fair question. Not sure the answer to be honest. Really just want everything sorted out. I’m more inclined to sell the truck when I get it back this time around and buy a platinum 22 f350 srw crew cab short bed

 

Yep- hence why I will not being doing that. OEM unit with some updates and done.

might as well just bolt a custom drive shaft right to the flywheel and go 1:1 all day. cut out the middle man.

 

A manual wouldn't have these issues

 

Toyota installed a manual behind the 2UZ V8 in the Land Cruiser, but that doesn’t help us here.
