Mine passes, I have the full kit from Hewitt with the sensors that replace the valves, so I deleted everything and my ARH headers don't have the provisions.

I did the Hewitt block off plates and the cheap DIY AIP bypass. Worked pretty good for past few years.

I'm trying to rember what @ViktorG said that the ecu 5v reference that the pumps use can cause issues. I wanted to pull the whole system but settled on turning of mil codes and fooling the temp test.

If you do the DIY bypass, what does the status say for the SAIS? I bought the Hewitt kit because it shows as Ready
The sensors replace the valves under the blower, if you do the kit you can remove the pumps in the fender as well as the hoses. I just taped off the power plugs for the pumps and zip-tied them behind the mess of wires on the valve cover

I'll have to look. It should be ready as it just tells the ecu for sais that the temp is good.
If I can take all that stuff off then that would be golden.

Yep, I've had mine sitting in storage since I took it off when I installed the supercharger. Picture below is before with the valves, second picture is with the sensors in place of the valves ( breathers zip-tied to the sensor nipples that are open to atmosphere).

Are they thinking of the sais aip system? With or without the air pipe?

No- essentially that’s two different things from my understanding. Do our stock headers have any provisions lol? If not then the answer would be no EGR lol but I haven’t looked.

I'm sorry, I think I'd need to question them as to why they're asking that question in regard to an engine that doesn't have it. I've read that the 4.6L does/can have it, and maybe that's where their query originates? Dunno.

I think there’s confusion on the egr vs sais either way looks like stainless works also includes tubes which is what I’m guessing arh is also referring to. https://stainlessworks.net/headers-...MInYnL4OWTigMVfiStBh1CKDpAEAQYAiABEgLgqfD_BwE

    Many on the way.
Only air injection on the 5.7, no egr.

I neglected to mention the 4.6 does have egr.

That's the air pipe for the aip.
Yeah, seems their calling it egr but it's the aip/sais.

Made progress on my original oil cooler project, after getting side-tracked by my electric fan and electrical upgrade projects...Now I just need to swap out the oil filter housing and make some lines, should be nice short runs.
I changed the heat exchanger mounting, since previously I was mounting to the AC condenser. I still need to clean up my brackets and paint them. I used M6 nutserts everywhere, 2 in the core support for M6 rubber isolators for the bottom mounts, and 3 in the top cross-bar

Found a nice spot for the remote filter/thermostat, room for a longer filter and about 1/2" all around. Mounted to the frame with M8 nutserts.

Good to stay clear of the sway bar. I made sure the sway bar was tight and had no excessive play. I didnt do a remote mount and yours look great!
