Mine took a little gentle persuasion from a deadblow to put in the driver axle. Been working great for the past 2 years!

That is true but I cant find anything about people using them. Also the parts are made in either Australia, LA(doubt it) and Shanghai. I saw some members talking about them a few post back but didn't think much of till today. Black Friday deals got me to start my search so I could jump on a deal. Here we are now. Just ordered a Revesol steering wheel because of a BF deal.

Alright Fellas, i heard back from Hotshot/Colton and he's gonna send me an invoice tomorrow for a Whipple supercharger!

What other accoutrement should i be looking for while there's deals out there? I plan on just sticking with the stock tune until i want more powah. Seems like the PSB-1 is a good idea to keep an eye on things. Anything else?

Of the install, seems like installing the fuel pump is going to be the most difficult. The kit comes with a DW 340LPH, is that enough or should i consider the Walbro 450Ti as listed on the 1st page. Again, i'll probably stick with the stock pulley, but if i need to re-tune due to some drivability issues, i'll probably slap a smaller pulley on, but nothing crazy. @reywcms You mentioned your pops did 1 step down with the DW 340?

Anything else i could do keep things safe and not blow the guts out of the cats (i need them here in California)? I tow a 6k lb trailer a few times a year.

If you’re planning on adding the smaller pulley I’d just throw in the 450 pump right off the bat. The included fuel system should be plenty but for peace of mind that’s what I’d do. Also I’d still get a tune done no matter what it’ll still be able to
Pass etc just much better to have one dialed into your rig

Will the factory wiring work for the 450 or will i need to run a beefier power wire?

Also, there's no harm in having a stronger pump than needed....it'll just be flowing more back to the tank?

power wire is fine you’ll just wire into the factory setup with the new plug etc. some have upgraded the wiring but I have not and no issues. @snivilous can tune it also

If memory serves, the air intake that comes with the Whipple is sufficient for the stock pulley, but we were pretty close to maxing out the MAF. Installing a larger intake requires a retune to scaled the MAF correctly, but it allows more airflow before maxing out MAF voltage, which should allow for a little better resolution.

I installed at the Magnuson upper lid and intake tube (retained the factory lower intake box since my '13 has the larger lower box vs '14+ with a smaller air box) and had to finagle it a little to get it to work with the whipple. When things calm down a bit, I am thinking about having @snivilous fab up a fancy new intake so I can be more like @reywcms..

Ok, i'll put the Walbro 450 on my shopping list along with the PSB-1. Anything else i should look out for? Injectors would need a retune instantly right, and those dont seem like they would be difficult to install, so i'm guessing its more of a "buy it when you need it"

Hmm, i'll have to look into it.

I'm really just looking our for things that either: I should have on day 1 (PSB-1) or that would be a bitch to have to install down the road (Walbro 450) and better to do it during the s/c install.

A little change of pace for the discussion, but can somebody point me to some discussion or information about full motor builds? Before anybody thinks I blew up my motor, I'm looking at EVENTUALLY rebuilding for reliability (and more power if I feel like it. who am I kidding. Why not more power..). Anybody get a ballpark figure for not insane level, but robust level build?

I would look for an AFR gauge on sale, a mounting option for it, the Walbro wouldn't hurt but I don't think would be needed for what you're going to do. The DW340 is what most people run, unless you go to even larger injectors the 340 should be fine. I wouldn't worry about anything else. If you want the option to tune the truck yourself, then I'd also look for the HP Tuners MPVI3 on sale. That's all I would do for now.

Whipple kit comes with 650cc injectors also so those are good to go. Recap if it were me while it’s apart lol

    450pump
    Afr gauge
    Rcf and adapter
    Maggy box
    Tune
Smaller pulley- I probably have one laying around lol

@Danimal86 - except for the 450 fuel pump, this is the setup I am running. It works very well and I'm happy with the power levels and reliability.
