I got it all finished up and put the new belt on, starts and idles just fine, checked for leaks and got it up to temp. I'll get to test it out tomorrow morning and keep an eye on IAT delta, and listen for squealing.

Other than needing longer mounting hardware and a longer belt, everything else fits without issue. My air filter is in a better spot and is no longer rubbing, hood clearance is also not an issue.

I'm tempted to do it, i have the maggy 2650 though, just eyeballing it, looks like the hat of the 2650 might come into contact with the cowl, or at minimum be very close to it with 1" spacers.

Mine has a few inches yet to the top of the rotor pack, a little less at the pulley where the hood slants down, I'll try to get an actual measurement.

Update: I'm pretty sure my torn o-rings had been a problem for a while, it drives like a new truck today, the part-throttle bog down is no longer occurring, and it was super responsive. The belt is no longer squealing, just a chirp when shifting. Very happy with the results, I'll have a longer drive at lunch to check IAT deltas.

Any chance to snap a pic of the fuel rail to see what spacing it provides. After looking at the area I'm not sure I could squeeze in a nozzle for extra juice. Or maybe a port at an angle? Thanks!

On the outside, there isn't much room between the spacer and the rails, I would install the ports on the valley side of the spacers under the SC, tons of room under there now. Unfortunately I never got a pic of the spacer-port interface.

Awesome! Looks like you at least resolved an issue with those o-rings. Looking forward to your impressions on the runner.

Feels amazing, but that could be because I fixed a vacuum leak and installed new spark plugs...IAT deltas are lower 15-17F above ambient while driving, 20-33F above ambient while parked and idling for ~5 minutes. I've seen it get 50F above ambient while idling for 20-30 minutes in the pick up line at school, so I'll have to check that again when in that situation.

No more squealing belt, just a chirp at start up and when shifting, so I'm very happy with the results...and I have a nice stealthy solution for Water/Meth later.

Nice! @e30cabrio has an Aquamist W/M that is great for setting up a multi port w/m injection. If I wasn't doing the gears and lsd I'd be on getting the runner setup and all the other goodies.

Oh and Wheelers Offroad started their black Friday sale. Their front super bump stops look good for the SC'd tundra hitting a big old pot hole when you can't slow down in time...:p

Put on the green belt a few months back and now have a noise tied to rpm in the belt area. Replaced the belt with the OEM Mag belt and same sound. Now going to replace the two idlers and tensioner/idler. I hand spun each idler when the belt was off and at least one did seem odd. 50k miles, supercharged 34k of those. Hopefully not the alternator or power steering bearings. Ive exploded a belt on a Mustang once where an idler seized so now these noises make me paranoid.

i honestly may be thinking my odd sound is coming from the blower coolant pump

@Ponderosa_Pine Swap your idlers when doing your tensioner! Easy insurance... don't use aftermarket unless you love doing it over...

@NatesNightMare Pull the fuse on the pump and see if the noise changes for a minute...

Had an idler seize on me over the summer and shredded the belt. 100k on the idler changed it out along with new tensioner have one more idler to swap out to be in the clear.

I bought a used ecm to keep as a spare. Can I install it, program my vin and immobilizer with techstream, start the truck, and then remove it without having to reprogram anything with the stock ecm? I want to verify the junkyard one works before the warranty expires but I don't want to mess anything up with the stock one.

Well boys. Headed to level10 tomorrow morning. Looks like my stock trans is a goner. Dropping off tomorrow for a week and having Pat rebuild mine into a ‘built’ trans.

Yeah I’ve been expecting it for a bit. It’s been acting up and then slipped quite a bit yesterday coming home from a camping trip. Wife drove it today and came back with a few codes.

Damn. I really gotta do that VB upgrade. When I had my rack bushings done I had the trans flushed and he said the fluid wasn’t burned but it was definitely ready to be changed. Had 30-40k on that fluid.

Last year I had that p2714. Supposed to be bad news for the tranny. A few have gotten away with fluid/solenoid changes.
I'll be having to think about the transmission sooner than later. Doing the VB upgrade was told 50/50 that it would help if caught soon enough.

Glad to hear you’re still going strong after having gotten it. Did you have any of the other codes? As I understand it, the trans just has too much debris from it coming apart and passage ways are blocked. Nothing can fix other than rebuild. Wish it wasn’t the case.

Having replaced two transmissions, I would definitely recommend installing a valve body kit and a trans cooler (immediately) for supercharged applications. Otherwise a full rebuild will eventually be likely. It seems like there is an exponential impact of adding more hp/torque above the original 500hp TRD dealer option.
