It's a possibility. I already have pistons and rods, but I could sell those.

Yeah, it's part of the label. DW after all, does manuf parts that play with gas. Just doesn't settle well with me that this shrink wrap label submerged in gas. After all, all the pumps I have ever installed have never had a plastic wrap.

I was hoping you would do that at a minimum!

Strokers are cool, cost on stroker cranks are not cool.

I'd like to get the stroker kit, but I don't think it's in the cards at the moment. The more I think about it, I can't justify that cost for another .3L, and then sleeving to get that last .8L adds another 4K. Forged internals and bigger valves/head work should keep me happy for a while.

Current plan is to bring engine home tomorrow and begin inspection/disassembly this weekend. Ship heads and valvetrain components to XAT and have them do their pocket port service, install larger valves and new components. While the heads are at XAT, I will drop the block and bottom end components off at the Machine shop to have them hone and deck the block (if needed), balance the assembly as well as line hone the mains with the ARP main studs. Once I get everything back I can do a final clean up, blueprint, and assemble the engine.

Dropped my rear drive shaft off to be shortened for the awd conversion. Had to be careful with throttle the fronts wanted to break free when i pulled out on the roadd
I would love to grab a spare 5.7 to build it up...Hopefully within the next year.

For something cheap like a LS, I think stroking it makes sense depending on the application. For a Tundra, the cost/performance ratio I don't think is there. How much extra power are you really getting for the thousands of dollars for that extra bit of displacement? And from a raw power perspective I wouldn't be surprised if a stock stroke high rpm engine makes more power. Lots of boost, balance and rev it to 7000 or 8000, and you'll be doing awesome and save yourself $10k and the headaches of making the stroker work (and possible loss of reliability).

I had it exiting right above the spare. In 4th gear at 1800-1900rpm created some reverberation under the bed. I need to ditch the spare as it's the original from 2007 and its short by a few inches. :D

Exhaust leak on bank 1? Fuel psi good? Injectors leaking? Pcv valve open? Exhaust gas circ system? Good connection on o2 sensor, no shorts? Air leaks? Everything seated so no extra air coming in?

i have a feeling its the downstream O2. it got cross threaded the last time i took the pipes off so i had to weld back in till i got a new bung and sensor. may have messed with it some as i can drive some till it trips. other than that all i did was put 3" pipes from just after the second O2. followed same path as old pipes added an x pip and extra bend to pass side to make equal lengths. ive got no leaks

Yanked the Tundra t-case and threw in the Sequoia t-case. Local driveline machinist who does all the race/drag drivelines did me right with a 1 day turn around. Just need to wire up my momentary switch and good to go. I decided to go with a lighted momementary instead of the Sequoia one. It'll light up when engaged. Figured $10 vs $60 was easy enough decision. AWD Tundra just in time for the winter season.
