Aside from all the issues I had with the MAF. Using the GM 95mm TB @snivilous really only had to bump up the airload around 25-30 percent. Retarded timing in a few cells and its been golden!

Yep same here mines running great! Would rather not have the cable as another failure point in the middle of nowhere is my only reason for wanting to switch

I've been criticized for having cable TBs on the buggy and Hilux. But you can't blip the throttle from the engine bay or use a piece of string to fix an electronic TB so I just give them the finger :D

Just got an email from the local dealer canceling the bolts, I assume because they are TRD Nazis & need a TRD VIN for anything TRD.

Called the other dealer to see if they would add a second set of bolts to the rotor, no, it comes from the distro center directly OH & it's on backorder. Ok, no problem, how long say I?

Uh no ETA she says as if it's perfectly normal to have an open-ended backorder. I say there is no ballpark? Could be a week, could be 10 years, that gets an annoyed 2-12 weeks.

So many unpleasant responses run through my head, I remind myself it's not her fault and say thanks for your time, have a great day. click.

yeah dude is thinking the ttv6 can smoke a boosted tundra. i said boost for boost lets lay it down. he tried saying a basic tune to the ttv6 and itll tear anything up i said so then a bumoed up tune for the ttv6 and a bumped tune for the SC 5.7.hes keeps backstepping lol

It’s of course not worth the time spent on petty arguments with dummies online, but for “wasting us” I’m surprised they aren’t even in the top 10 on the dragy leaderboard for tundras.

Remember I told you a few pages back about this? This was also discussed back in June when another member put together a deal for Alcon BBK. They mentioned back in June that they were on backorder. So here we are in Sept and still on backorder. I would imagine since not many TRD BBK were sold, parts won't be produced in large quantities, just thinking out loud here. I almost bought a used setup from eBay for $1800, but need 20" wheels and the whole parts availability turned me away.

Speaking of backorder, I have also been waiting on a Sonnax Zip Kit from Summit. ordered June 16, now has a ship date of Oct 6. They just keep moving the date over and over again.

See if you can find replacement bolts elsewhere, McMasterCarr, ACE Hardware, etc. Can probably source them for much cheaper.

The second set of bolts are on the way, the backorder is the ginormous rotor. :(

Maybe you shouldn’t have had that cookie with lunch that day.

Safe to say that it’s within margin of error on the dragy. Annoyingly I have a 4.56, but when it “uploads” to the board dragy changes it to 4.65 because it’s a shitty app.

This is on the dragy app.

The truly odd thing is many dealers when I search the part number show in stock, 2-12 day delivery. I emailed 2.
