That ship set sail when my daughters became teenagers. Having a reason to think about something else, in the garage, is actually therapeutic. Data logging is what has really cause me distress. Too much data to obsess over.

I hope to someday soon have a similar situation with a garage to work in and an extra vehicle to drive. Then I can tear shit apart at will and be able to leave it apart when my projects go south without stressing about it. I currently have neither of those things, plus a toddler and another on the way. Wrong stage of life to just FSU on 1 of my 2 family vehicles lol.

Time goes by fast. Enjoy watching the little ones grow.

When things level out, go treat yourself to a reward for raising them right.

This is how it is on my truck. It will run a bit off in PE right after a tune, usually close enough to get it dialed, but after a few miles/days it will drift a bit and then lock in. If I'm really splitting hairs then I have to wait for it to settle in, since there's too much variance from the immediately after tuning and the true final AFR in PE. With that said, it's only a change of like 0.3 maybe, and only in PE. The rest of the operating range it's usually dialed.

That's my personal truck, as @helidave pointed out some trucks seem really weird and finicky. As I recall Dave and I changed his PE by .02 one time and nothing else and the AFR in PE swung like two whole points. It's kind of crazy the inconsistency that identical drivetrain vehicles can have, whether that's from some physical difference or strictly the tune idk.

When showing off the speed of your steed from a dig, and you've selected 4H for all the glory, make sure the f***ing thing has actually finished engaging 4H before giving it the beans...

Dammit! Now I need another question answered!

Data logging after SCer installation is recommended, true?

Is there a difference in the data logged running in 4hi vs 2wd?

I'm in the planning stages for my '21 SCer install, so any insight is always appreciated.

    Thanks in advanced.

His Sequoia has that nice torsen center diff that our Tundras need. I would do all logging in 2wd as it really doesn't make that much of a difference. Maybe a little extra load but majority are in 2wd.

    Really cool!

I like the 4HI, truck runs great. I only take it out on long road trips.

Yea just some noise which assumed it was a coupler. They inspected and it in-fact was the couplers and also mentioned slight alignment issue between the inlet and housing. I also wanted some internal upgrades for later down the road.

    Road trip update:

Just completed 2,500 miles TX, back home to OR. Truck was started each morning and wasn't turned off for 10-12 hrs for the new pup and wife's plants. Temps were 80-115, with most around 100.

The 80mm on the Harrop made it a beast at elevation. Trans lockup tuning is great (5%, followed by another 5% reduction). CC worked great with that tuning too.

Didn't take overall MPG, but tanks were 12-16 MPG. Truck was loaded med-heavy, RTT, camping gear, etc. Trailer is still in TX to grab next month.

    Overall I'm super impressed.

I usually chime in when people say this.

My 2013 has had a TRD SC from brand new, almost 100k miles, and I have done absolutely zero to it other then love it.
To me it works perfectly. It see temps from -35deg C to +35C and it does truck stuff not mall stuff.
Reading this thread has convinced me to never go down the power rabbit hole lol!

Turns out it was the Bypass valve. Pulled the vacuum line off of it and it makes 7-8 psi, no prob. Only 10k miles on it too.

    Where can I get one?
