    Many on the way.
The better separators filter the oil before returning it to crankcase. There are some nice units made by Tokyo Roki that the OEMs use. We could certainly design some neat stuff that will get the job done.

I was looking at the new AFE CAI made for our trucks with SC installed. Why oh why must they test a new product on a truck with 35"x12.5"18 wheel/tire combo and an aftermarket market exhaust. Then post a Dyno that makes no sense, to me. Unless I am reading it wrong. Red is AFE. Blue is base line. To me AFE peaks at 3.8 then around 4.3 to redline base is higher.

Well they need to fire whoever heads up marketing because that graph show their intake is only good to 3.8k rpm. While they are at it, fire the engineering team that came up with this CAI.

Not to defend what they're showing, but in the normal course of driving a majority of owners aren't going to be winding their trucks out. From that perspective it might make sense. Also, a lot of people are probably going to buy it because they think it looks and sounds cool to them.

Could they not have posted a supercharged truck with the intake system. Does AFE not have money or what ? Shit I'll bring my truck to them if they wanna dyno mine with it and swap the new one just to keep it.
Been looking at that intake for awhile now. Kinda attached to my stock box from maggie.

on the instagram awhile back. I also posted in here when it came out. Juice isn't worth the squeeze here in my opinion it also has more of a kink in the intake tube. SABM mod and better filter in the maggy box is plenty

Create a thread introducing yourself with a post per major mod, you'll get to 50 pretty quick, then ask a mod to move it to the FS forum.

All of the physical controls, solenoids and temperature inputs/outputs are handled by the TCU controller. The ECU (and other modules) provide the TCU controller data/commands via the CAN-BUS.

In essence it seems this move was done as the original board ran out of I/O real estate and the new transmission warranted expansion.

We've done a few LC/LX's with Maggy's and Harrop's on them. They work really well with the 8spd. ;)

    How does this rate?

Still need the fit kit, but wanted opinions if I should pursue this.

$2900 for just the 2650 and it's been used for a year.

I think that is high, I paid (I think) 3100 with 90%+ of the install items, all that was missing was the intercooler & pump both I wanted to upgrade anyway. I'd say 2k is better, 2500 max.

That's a 1900 not a 2650. What does a fit kits run is the question? Brand new they are around 7.5k.

I like the way you think.

It's annoys me that parts for an absolute engine can still get those kind of prices.

The add is from the Detroit area. That is "Big Three" territory.

We don't have the Tundra trucks like other parts of the country.

fit kits can be found whole for around $4500 from superchargersonline.com. When I pieced mine together with upgraded parts, I want to say it was shy of $3k.

Page 1 has the parts list from sc online. I have a look over the weekend, I THINK I saved the Toyota Parts Number list when I was building my fit kit.

Yeah, so $2900 for SC and $4500 for fit kit, might as well go new.

Well I finally got a valve body from IPT. Ditched my 1970's cheap shift kit but kept the aluminum billet accumulators for c2, b3 and c3. Did a quick ohm check of the solenoids before installing. Everything went well except when i was filling the trans and my funnel fell over and about a quart of ws fluid spilled into my fender and windshield cowl! Ugh.
Those rods limited the overlap when shifting so it was locking up the clutch packs quickly. Bye bye to those... Hopefully will extend the life of my trans until I can get it built.
And yes, I get to work outside since my garage is my woodworking shop and got taken over for storage!

I use to have the same rod style shift kit in another tundra I had. Didn't have it long but you felt it shift.

Yeah I wound up putting it into my 2nd transmission too. I think it's the only thing that saved my clutches from burning up by removing the overlap, luxury, shifting. It's not a bad concept just ancient and there are better things available now!

Things have definitely come a long way with the tundra platform. I remember doing shift kits and reducing torque management on my 4L65/70E. I always got a kick out saying, my trans shifts as smooth as butter. That smoothness comes with a price. I like firm shifts, I dont like that sliping feeling between shifts. My shift kit is being delayed to Aug 5.
