I do as well. Your bypass will look generally similar to the photo.

I did that adjustment on the Taco s/c and DID hear the "tink" sound. But I think my Tundra maggy was adjusted properly when I tried on it.

I have had sporadic issues with the sensor, Innovate (Autometer) replaced it & it started working again. It is a Bosch unit so not Innovate's fault & I believe it is the same unit every manufacturer uses.

Super easy on the Tundra since the bypass is in thr front of the s/c. It's just turning an Allen head screw

Does the banks have a wideband afr accessory sensor?
AEM but then it's 2 gauges, one for boost and another for afr's. I'm still using their old failsafe with both boost and afr. Still going after 12 years and 2 sensors...

I read that also and went with AEM. But if I had to do it over again Aero Force Interceptor would be my go to. I have had them before without issues and it's a multi use gauge. Hooks up to your OBD and you can buy add on acct sensors.

Welp... Back to our testing on lowering IATs in general. We did get one of the Stillen Intakes with the patent pending intake scoop. Unfortunately, the location and geometry aren't going to work with the filter location on the turbo, so before we send this baby back. Does anyone want a killer deal on the intake to save us the extra paperwork?

We have the TP403203 - Trupower by STILLEN Stage 2 direct flow cold air intake with dry air filter 2014-21 Tundra 5.7, BRAND NEW and can ship right out. Thanks!

Sounds about right. I did mine when I pulled the snout for the @snivilous pulley hub. It was still at factory settings.

Yup! Turn until tight, then back it off and you should hear this "tink" sound (at least I did on the Tacoma), then leave it be.

"Adjust counter clockwise to allow for further valve butterfly stop. You can physically feel the valve bind when you have went to far. Back it out just a hair and you'll hear a solid "tink" sound, which is your good to go audible indicator that it is fully adjusted and ready for playtime.

(Note: The blower is upside down in this photo, and the Allen head which requires adjustment has pink loctite on the threads of it.) This adjustment is accurate to a properly adjusted valve and is exactly where mine is adjusted to as well when I hear the audible "tink" sound."

I believe that what @e30cabrio said is correct - they all use the same sensor(s) from the likes of Bosch. My PSB-1 has been installed for 6 months and so far so good. Knock on wood..

As far as the Banks iDash, when I looked in to them at the same time as the PSB-1, I don’t believe they had the hardware side worked out to monitor boost and wideband AFR on a vehicle not originally equipped with those two sensors, like our tundras. IIRC, you can add modules via their CanBUS system but they didn’t have any compatible with the tundra; or they weren’t available and were “upcoming products”. Either way, the iDash wasn’t a viable option at the time. If it were, it would have been much more expensive than the Innovate setup for all the hardware. Hopefully Banks keeps pushing things forward but the PSB-1 checked all the boxes for me for a great price. It also allows me to datalog that info using HPTuners MPVI3 and ProLink, alongside the vehicle data from the ECU.

That said, I’m looking at getting the simpler version of the iDash to monitor everything else. My Craven speed mount has room for two gauges so I guess I might as well use it.

Ok, the bosch sensor seals the deal for me, since is the same one across multiple vendors. So I will go with the PSB-1 and add the ScanGauge 3 to the mix.

I believe Whipple and Harrop don't have them either. After some further review think it's up to the tvs2300 series.

All this mirrors my experience, plus the antiquated software Active Autowerke uses for my BMW only works with Innovate for getting AFR into the logs so I lucked out there.

Unless Whipple is hiding the valve somewhere else, I can confirm there isn’t a tiny brass orifice in the bypass valve that they supply.

I can't keep track of who has what. So, if you're running a TVS 2650 Whipple/Harrop, please check for the orifice at the bypass and report back please. Two units not having one is a coincidence, more becomes evidence/confirmation ...or some such :p. Thanks!

I just noticed that your bypass has....uh, two nipples. I wonder what the unconnected one's purpose is.

Looks like it's on the other side of the diaphragm, so presumably if you want to actuate it with positive (increasing) pressure as opposed to sucking on the top one :D
