And he has the big tree awd. Not to be off track but what's your mpg when in awd?

 

We need a post mods dragy! Sounds like you’re pushing the stock engine limits.

 

I think we’re close for power but who really knows since not many have really pushed the stock block with all the current tuning etc available. I definitely am not running the most boost out of all of us lol. I’m worried of 4hi launches now with all this power and these sticky 37s lol

No, it hasn't. I just did a total ATF drain and fill with WS fluid. Let it run to a trickle then just added a 1/2 quart.

 

I did get it up to 14psi...

 

This is true, but boost doesn’t necessarily equal power anyway, but flow does! And you should have a good amount of it on the intake and exhaust you have.

 

Totally agree as well as the lighter harmonic balancer etc should all be making a big difference

 

I understand and have no idea where I'm at with all the mods. But I have been trying to get intake and exhaust to flow as much as possible before going to the 2.0 pulley. And it's not a habit to be that high in psi...

Between the lead foot, big Coopers & SC I'm lucky to get 9/15.

It's worth every penny for the Smiles per gallon!

 

I averaged over 18mpg going to moab last month, and that was fully loaded with camping and dirtbike stuff. Best i've gotten in a while, even before SC. Apparently driving the speed limit and not flooring it all the time makes a big difference.

Oh yeah! Haha I know he probably doesn't like the props and is happy to help out. But @snivilous deserves a nice shout out and Thanks! My turbokits MAF required my tune to be totally re-worked from scratch. And was 99% on the money within 2 revisions. I'm stoked and happy to be cruising with a safe and reliable tune. Like all of us on this thread I am very happy for his knowledge and help that goes above and beyond my expectations! Thanks @snivilous!

I appreciate the comments as always. Yours by comparison has been a walk in the park compared to Fastlane's though hahaha. I think we're probably pushing 50 revisions of his tune, though that also spans different injectors, stock short block to the built XAT one, different fuel system components, the list goes on. For whatever reason his truck has been hard to do what I want, though we are very close at this point. Right now the biggest hurdle is it has starting issues, and so far I can't for the life of me get it to cooperate, and what's more confusing is it's totally fine immediately after a flash and then degrades to the point it needs multiple cranks to start, like the starting values learn into a worse position.

I'm not complaining though, I just feel bad the amount of work Fastlane (or you or other people) have to go through to test a bunch of tunes when the truck is acting weird, but that's pretty uncommon and usually a very built out setup.

Yep, XAT did a site refresh and added some new goodies

 

Really not a bad price, my 2JZ to CD009 adapter plate was a similar price and a lot simpler.

 

Oh man, what's a T56 go for? I wonder if all of that would've been less than the built AB60F I asked IPT to start building for me...

 

T-56 is a great trans and hold power well. Had a few in many cars that made big power and went in the 9s.
