How does it sound??? I was thinking of taking my tailpipes off and doing the dump version like yours.

When I spoke with Keith he said I would lose some low end torque but I can't tell. It is actually tame at cruising but I passed a car yesterday and it was mean sounding.
I did weld in 26inch hemholtz resonators after the x-pipe to help with dron at 1900-2000rpm. It's an easy test to swap out as I have the 2nd set to exit above axle by the spare.

Heck yeah got the PSB-1 all running now. The whole not showing boost in PSI unless it’s positive is weird to me, I get what others were saying.

Ah yeah I used to get that all the time with my high flow cats. Are your headers/cats stock or longtube?

I think he was saying you sh!t a cat, hear any rattling in your exhaust? You could try swapping sensors to test.

    oic, lol

No dead cat smells, no noises. Truck is running great.

The BMW is crazy demanding of OEM (expensive) sensors. Is the Tundra/Sequoia also? Is there a suggested one to get? (seeing as they have 142k I'll get all 4)

Definitely possible you have a bad sensor, especially if its only one side after several days. Could also be older cats + dumping lots of gas on WOT = temporary low efficiency and thus a CEL.

Just prior, I had been stuck behind a jackass crawling up the freeway onramp (in Mexico) and accelerated around him & 4 lanes of traffic (to about 90) in an unreasonably low amount of time for a 6klb lifted giant tired beast to get on the freeway.

    lol

I had one like that pop up once. I have rear cats removed. Cleared the code and it hasnt been back. If its more often someone told me to get spark plug defoulers and put them on the O2 sensors but youll have to tap it slightly bigger

I was getting it before on the flex ecu. But I have all my oem cats!

    Lol

I actually have defoulers. I'll try cleaning and then the defoulers.

I am sure this has been asked many a time I am getting a 2021 Tubdra and going to order a Whipple SC what is a safe boost level or what can the stock engine with just injectors and fuel pump handle? I wish some of these and other basic questions were added to the first post as it is very informative on the SCs themselves

Nice choice going with the Whipple. Safe would be near stock firm of 6-8psi. With 650cc injectors, upgraded fuel pump and a decent tune you can be up to 12psi. It seems most stay close to or under 12psi for longevity and safety. Others will chime in with their setups. @reywcms @blenton run whipple's

I like the Magnuson but my deciding factor is the price. I am finding the Whipple for Under $7k. I will also be installing myself on a 2021 1794 as soon as it is in my possession and have my tuner tune it, is there any information on when the trans tuning for HPT will be available for the 21s? I currently have a 2015 1794 with 81k miles and decided if I am going to put this much in parts and labor into a truck I may as well find the latest model year with the V8 and low mileage as I can. I may “steal” the trans cooler from my old truck before I list it for sale as well just to keep the oil as cool as possible even though Toyota decided it was no longer needed.

You should copy and paste that DM you sent me. It was very informative. Extremely well written.

I'm sure there many others monitoring this thread, that are presently here to soak up info.

    Too many mods to come

6-8 psi works great on the Whipple with the included injectors and pump. We run the one step down pulley on the old man’s rig and he’s very happy. Great choice on the blower.

I am good with happy but I always want more if I can safely. Do you happen to know how the injector duty cycle is looking with the 3.5" pulley is looking like? Is there room still to go down another size or 2? I know I will be able to tell that when I have it all installed and have it on the Dyno but I don't want to buy multiple pulleys if at all possible. I know I can return them if they are not installed but that would be another hassle.

One down is about max on the pump and included injectors. This will vary on elevation etc
