I think they are still working on cracking the 2019s last I checked.

I sent a note to HP Tuners and this was their response.

    Thank you for contacting Support.

We offer custom tuning software (tools) that the professional tuner shop or hardcore enthusiast uses to create their own custom tunes.
While the MPVI2+ (which comes with VCM Suite, VCM Editor, and a programming cable) provides full tuning support for your vehicle, it does not include any base/canned tunes, nor can we provide any specific guidance when it comes to tuning.

At present the 21 is an unsupported vehicle and we are working hard to develop support for these new vehicles. We only have support for 07-18 Tundra 5.7L V8. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a list or timeline of future support

If I were you I’d just try and locate a shop using VFtuner or use D3 like some of the other guys.

D3 has the canned tune...Dennis runs a Mag on his Tundra. he used the base mag tune to build mine.

Didn't know that, I wonder what can be done for proper stage 2 Mags as well, be nice to get to close to your stage 2 of 470whp.

Knowing what I know...which is not that much...Dennis is awesome at tuning the Mag. as his Tundra is his constant test bed.

and the damn thing is faster than mine...

He thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of tuning the Harrop. They call and ask questions every now and then, as they are tuning various s/c'd tundras.

My truck is still running great.

with $4.04 super....I'm soft pedaling it. got 18mpg on the way in today...59mph.

i hooked up the SS3's pro's backlight to the intercooler relay. since I want the backlight to come on with ignition. well, now I know why my intercooler stays on sometimes...see, now I can tell, because the amber backlights will be on. it's the damn bosch relay sticking. i need to replace it.

They have been awesome, every now and then they would like to see datalogs to ensure things are ok, I'm going to see if they will do a stage 2 tune, I already have the pulley, does stage 1 Harrop come with injectors?

no. I got those with the 80mm pulley.

he now knows the DW650's, so you may consider using those.

How is everyone? I’ve been on idle for a while since I couldn’t log important pids! Knock, misfire, had undefined tables, and was afraid to turn it up. VFtuner software is great just more geared towards the newer trucks. Just bought Mpvi2+ Pro and looking forward to tuning with it! I also have 2020 Mustang GT PP1 so HPtuner is a plus for me. I should have listened to Viktor G a long time ago! Lol! I haven’t had a problem with the Prospeed intake after installation. Sounds good! Throttle response is awesome and will fry the tires with just a blip of the pedal. I may try to modify it to get a cooler airflow, but haven’t seen a difference from the stock air box numbers. I really don’t have a lot of information about it though since I have been running a conservative tune and haven’t put many miles on it. I have an occasional belt slip since I installed the 80mm pulley I need to address. I have a new belt tensioner and idler pulley, but may need to upgrade my belt or get a better than stock tensioner. I seen a video about a clutch pulley for the alternator that lets it free wheel if you let off the gas fast. Any one have any information about that? I would like to upgrade my fuel lines also so I can run e85 in the future. Thanks for the great write up I seen earlier in the forum!!! HAG1 everyone!!!

Glad you’re doing good and enjoying the truck! Same here! As for your belt slip you may want to check out the Griptec pulley which are designed to prevent slippage. You could also get a Green belt which people say helps with the slip. I’ve not noticed any slipping with my griptec 80mm with the standard belt. Superchargersonline sells them for about $160. Other than that, a brief update on my Harrop experience….it’s been running great on my stage 2 setup aside from we are having issues resolving some warm startup issues. It starts fine cold or hot, but if it sits for 30-60 minutes and I return and start it up sometimes it really struggles! Only issue I’ve had so far and runs amazing otherwise, but it is annoying so definitely want to get it resolved.

I've had something like this happening to my truck for a few years and have been struggling to figure it out. Have you noticed that it runs really rich for a couple minutes once it starts? I've been thinking that it's always been something in my tunes, but now I'm wondering if it's my Secondary Air Injection System bypass. I need to look into it further, but from my understanding the bypass sends a signal to the ECU that the coolant temperature is in a range where it won't run the air injection motors and I'm beginning to wonder if this might be kind of confusing the ECU into running rich during startup and for a time afterward. Do you have a bypass?

Glad you are enjoying that stage two! I hope you get it resolved soon! I know what you mean about frustration! Don’t want to bash on here but 8 months back and forth with vendor I’m done! I have heard great things about DAP! Belt slip happens when I let off the gas to quick or high rpms.

I’ve noticed that it smells super rich after it finally starts but not sure if it’s from it dumping so much fuel in while it’s cranking. I don’t have a bypass on mine. The SAIS wouldn’t be disabled in the tune right? I saw he has the codes for the SAIS failure disabled but I would assume it’s all still functional. I didn’t have this issue until I changed pulley, injectors and tune. Starting to wonder if I have injectors bleeding down or something but it’s always fine on a cold start so that doesn’t make sense either. I think it’s tune related. He thought it was lean at first so he added more fuel and that made it worse, so he thinks it was so rich it was giving bad o2 readings. He cut fuel back in the last revision but it’s still not right. Waiting for a new file to try now.

I have a wideband, so I can see that mine is rich. It want's to die, and sometimes does too. I don't think that the system can be disabled via the tune, but I do know that the throttle limitations can, so that in the case of a fault you're not subject to limp mode and can still drive at normal speeds. I've been trying to get a log of an episode, but it's just so seemingly random. Maybe this summer I'll completely remove my bypass to see what happens, I installed it as a preventative so maybe it will still operate fine after being disabled for so long and I can at least narrow it down to ....something. Thanks.

Slownstock has been helping me with tuning. Great guy. I have a misfire pending code on the 1-2 shift since going down to the 80 mm. It only happens when I have the nannies off. I have had traction control problems after I leveled my truck and just now resolved it by installing washers under the yaw sensor. ZPC by itself didn’t solve my problem. I think it was my misfire pending code problem all along but I could not log misfire??? Since I did the washer trick along with a zero point calibration no flashing engine light. Hell I could turn the traction control off and it still would go crazy in curves.

I have a wideband on mine as well but it’s brought on via a relay off the ignition fuse in the cab fuse box. It kills power to it during cranking and doesn’t power up until the truck has started. By the time the gauge goes through it’s initialization and starts reading it’s up at 14.2 and continues going leaner to 14.7, so maybe it’s super rich right at startup. I have logs of mine doing it which I’ve been sending to DAP, I just think that what he sees via the stock O2s is very limited. Let us know if hooking the SAIS back up helps it out! I definitely see how it could make warm startup tuning difficult for any tuner seeing as sometimes that extra air is there and other times it’s not.

I have a Innovative PSB-1. It’s a afr and boost gauge combined. I bought it off Amazon. With the HP pro link I can add it in my data logging channels besides trying to watch the gauge while doing runs. It’s going to be nice.

I had a KC on a Magnacharged Chevy Z71 a few years ago. It did what they say it should do, however the way the KC worked then it was an expansion valve setup. The OEM AC system was an orifice tube setup. I went through 2 AC compressors in a year after KC install. I sold the truck and the guy that bought it had to replace the compressor again 6 months later.

Could be that I didn't have something setup right but I set it up just like Joe Kincaid told me to. YMMV.

Oh darn, yea that would be too much work for something so little to gain.
