General Supercharger Thread

Those that watch and/or have a gauge for thier trans temps what do you use?

 

Mine is in my Kenwood HU.

 

ultragauge mx. torque pro app is good too, and probably the cheapest way to do it

 

Pins 94, red wire and 93 green wire sensor 1.
Pins 117 white wire and 116 black wire sensor 2 bank 1.

Yeah and the d53 module has the grounds.
I chopped my thumb on a mandolin so I'm a bit bored...just relaxing looking at diagrams with this insane throbbing of pain.

Battery is sitting disconnected for the night, I really hope it isn't the sensors, they are expensive & a pita to get to.

 

Thanks. I wouldn't think it be both sensors on bank 1 most likely at the ecu. Really only place that was touched was at the ecu plug.

 

The codes are contradictory. O33D is no signal and 0228 is high signal.

I have a odd issue with starting. The issue started immediately after installing a set of 1000cc injectors form Prospeed. The truck will crank for a full cycle but wont start, will eventually start at the end of the second cycle and blow out a big puff of fuel smoke. The fuel pressure stays at 60psi and doesn't fall off after sitting. Other times it will start right up, warm or cold, doesn't matter, but not with the roar it had with the 750cc injectors. @snivilous and I are ready to set this thing a blaze and walk away, lol. I just wanted to put it out there to see if anyone else has had this issue. After start up it runs perfect, no issues at all.

Been there with no resolution. Glacially trying to gather data. I had the same starting issue with some Five O 750s. @Mdl offered to try them in his truck so he has them now and will report on his findings when he has the opportunity.

 

Yeah, it's nuts, I almost hate driving it now, lol almost.

 

I just shuddered when I had to start it, it was embarrassing. I tried a bunch of stuff, brainstormed with SlowNStock and Sniv. Different injectors, 750s from Prospeed, took care of it. The root cause is still a mystery though.

 

I may take them out and reinstall them tomorrow, move the cylinders around, I'm not sure if that will do anything.

No change from the battery off all night, except a single cylinder coil code that cleared. I have not moved all day from my computer, a client was hacked & I have been disabling systems since 4am PST.

I had the exact same issue with my DW 650s. I wasted tons of time messing with airflow values in HPT and got nowhere. And then it just stopped happening in one of my tune revisions from @snivilous. I think it was just the right combination of injector constant and MAF values, but I don’t have a clue.

 

I found if I don't let the pressure build up it starts by third revolution.
I chopped the side of my thumb off with a mandolin accident. Had to throw out a perfect sweet onion. Anyways hope to install and test soon.

 

You must have been rockin hard to Beethoven for that mandolin to have gone medieval on your thumb like that… I can only imagine what sort of bloody power ballad you were strumming up
