No dumb suggestions. I need to send logs. It's just weird.

    Thanks

Have you been able to verify whether or not the wideband/PSB1 data is accurate? What I mean is, have you compared it to the stock O2 sensor data? I use my head unit and iDatalink to monitor basic engine data like trans temp, load, etc available through the OBDII port; when setting up my PSB-1, I had some weirdness on the reading for a bit and went through the same setup process a few times. I was able to read the PSB-1 and head unit data concurrently and verify when the PSB-1 was reading correctly.

You could use HP Tuners or any OBDII monitor, really, to see what your factory O2’s are reading, then compare it to the PSB-1. That would at least tell you which end of the tale to chase - the tune or the PSB1.

I may have missed it, but where in the exhaust is the wideband mounted? And Innovate sent you a new sensor, yes? So there *shouldn’t* be an issue with the wideband itself - like using the wrong sensor or a bad/dirty/faulty sensor, correct?

The other thing I thought of would be a leak in the exhaust, possibly around the sensor hung. I don’t think it would behave as your gauge is behaving, but it’s worth giving it a look see?

I don't have that kind of access/control. This is barely OBD1 (has a 20 pin connector under the hood and because it is after 1996, an OBD2 port in the car but the programmer is very basic.

I have been getting O2 codes, have new sensors coming Friday, Rock Auto sent the wrong ones yesterday.

The wideband is after the 2 banks (inline 6) in front of the cat, there was very limited access/available locations, it is literally in front of the front OEM O2.

I think your post ended up in my quote :

How close to the exhaust ports? Too close/far can throw them off.

    What do you mean?

The head is several feet away

Ok. Re-read your post as to the location. Thought it may be to close to the exhaust ports on the head...

This might not be known (I didn't know about it until a few months ago). For those with the PSB-1, or presumably any Innovate gauge, if it throws a "Boost Cut" text on the screen and you find it annoying you can turn it off by adjusting the settings that activate the boost cut. The boost cut as I recall is what triggers the relay output and on a turbo would activate the blow off valve. Regardless, here is how you access the menu through the gauge, and then I just increased the boost level beyond what the truck would ever see and then it won't throw the boost cut message anymore.

You could also use that output to trigger a warning light or buzzer and set it to go if if you went lean under boost. I was going to do that, but turns out I'm lazy

Believe me! If there is a way for it to trigger the ecu to cut rpm, throttle or add fuel that is faster than you seeing or hearing a letting off the skinny pedal. Had my AEM failsafe set for visual and by the time the eyes see brain says let off it'll go boom.
But maybe if your not hell bent on going all out you have a chance.
Just my 2 cents, or engines, worth. :D

My 1st thought, I need a BOV or something for the BMW as the tune calls for a max of 8lbs on a 100mm pulley & I have an 85mm pulley, this would be great to connect that to.

Does this also apply to get what you really want? I have a garage full of parts/have taken large losses on parts I got, then decided I NEEDED an uppergrade (Upgrade to an upgrade)

More engine wise as different engine have specific oarts or needs to work correctly. Sure some parts may be swapable but for somethung like flex fuel itll most likely have to be specific to run right.

Won't help with your procharger, but it could trigger a solenoid to interrupt the bypass valve. Won't kill all boost when spinning fast, but maybe enough to drop into the safe zone.

Not quite the same, but similar design. You could certainly wire it to a BOV or dump solenoid for extra protection like you mentioned. On a Tundra SC it could interface with the boost bypass valve.

You could have that output do all kinds of useful things if you're clever enough to wire it up. Or make it honk the horn every time you hit max boost, just for the lolz

@ARES35 I was thinking the same with the maggy and ffv. Is it a CA EPA thing? Maybe the Tundra owner didn't want to mess with tuning?

Maybe a CA thing not sure. All I know is the non FFV comes with the pump. Everything else is exactly the same. When initially using their RTD device Maggie just sends over a FFV tune if FFV or non if not.

I got the FFV specific kit. Only difference I saw and have been told was no fuel pump in the FFV kit.
As far as the tune though, I was informed they don't have a FFV specific tune :notsure:. There's one FFV truck that I know of that Magnuson referred to mcbautotech/yotawerx for a flex tune
