I hear ya. I did the burnout video to throw a little shade at my brother. Mostly only do some dumb stuff when it's wet out. Turning the 35's not too good for the drive train either! Must be a mid life thing...

Does disabling it all eliminate the system from torque limiting all together? I feel like mine pulls power when I'm nowhere near spinning tires. If I'm being honest spinning tires seems like a pipe dream; unless I'm doing a boosted launch. AWD, 10,000ft, and 37's with a tuned stage 1 feels near stock power.

I don't think so, need to adjust the torque limit maps in the tune. The full traction off just won't override before those maps come into play. And even the maps we have access to don't fully cover everything it seems like, like low range torque limits.

Always have mine off. Went out to rip a forest loop and the rear end stepped out hard off camber rocks and the Nannie’s saved me from balling it up in a ditch. Surprised it kicked on honestly lol.

Also another note, had a fun run with a maggy tundra. He was in front of me and nailed it so I proceeded to do the same. Closed in hard on him and had to lift off the gas. Good looking truck. Lifted on 37s

    Stay safe out there.

Nannies off can get crazy, you can get sideways fairly easily.

Very true!! It was not a good experience
But it taught me that it will walk. I turned off all safeties and it was better and more controllable.
I can spin tires from a dead stop with not much throttle.

@helidave Not in front of editor right now but in your transmission shift scheduling, compare with where you're currently shifting in normal/tow haul etc with cell values/pedal position. You will have to compare actual shift vs the tables. I'm running the TRD shift tables with slight adjustments to 3-4/4-5/5-6. Then match your faults, cold/cold fault and so on. Also note my 17 does not have the shift pressures table or the torque management table like the TRD tune has:notsure:. You may be able to adjust the torque management upshifts/downshifts table also but that is over my head since I don't have that option. Also I did not have to adjust torque model spark effects. The TRD tables worked well with small adjustments in transmission shift scheduling for me

The HPT repository SlowNStock has that calculations spreadsheet. Plug in your ignition efficiency adjusted table, adding for more timing to be pulled. Then paste for your calculated inverse value's. Believe that'll pull timing in between shifts but I haven't tested this

That was the ticket for the Tundra. The IS350 is still just a stupid car...

Installed a new prospeed intake tube since my old one was getting eaten by the box. Been throwing a P0101 ever since. Annoying, so now chasing the little details. Worst case I'll throw the previous intake tube back in. So far cleaned the maf, swapped in a new maf. Now just sealed the pcv Line better and swapped the old filter I had in. We'll see what happens.

Yeah, I'd through the old one in and see... If it persists maybe the plug/pins.

I did notice the maf mount angle is slightly off and making the maf point slightly up rather than straight. Maybe causing turbulence as air goes into the maf. Again, all theory here lol. Worst case clean the old tube up and slap it back in.

"I reckon your air ain't straight."

Nah could be a number of things. I'd check the seal. I hate that tube with passion.

Performance MRP if you need custom length/diameter.

Any tricks to recover from an interrupted flash and possibly bricked ecu? My laptop shut off half way through writing a tune with HPT.

Ouch! You may need to hit up a shop. If they can even recover it. You may have bricked it :nuclear:

Tried a few more times without success. Tried to use the VF Tuner ecu recovery tool, and that didn't work either

Try disconnecting pos and neg on battery. Do a discharge, headlights on and touch pos negative cables for any residual and reconnect in about 15min. Worth a try.
I also believed the hpt support had me try their beta version.

Can you communicate with ecu through obd with scanner or Techstream? How are the ecu and ign fuses?
