I'll see your 14 & "raise" you 2.5! (first positive number the BMW has seen. They have the MAP connected to the BOV vacuum, doesn't seem right.

Blanks have been ordered to house the sub volume knob & LED/glass break sensor for the alarm.

Whatever this forum told me to do
I rolled into it. Didn’t know I was gonna do a hit till I saw the road was clear

    And

I realize that 11psi is not due to my zen knowledge of boost as I realize it more an indication of the plethora of restrictions I run

11psi is just ignorant. In a mature way

I'm going to a 2.0 pulley from @snivilous and an ATI crank damper pulley.

You'll be fine. 16 PSI wont be anywhere near maxing out your new engine's capacity. I would guess 650-700WHP.

I think this was shot at 20ish PSI:

I'm hoping for 650 or so to the wheels, next year a bigger blower.

I think you'll be close if you don't hit your goal. Hard to say with all the variations.

Using the Holdener formula and not accounting for inefficiencies and parasitic loss you would need to push ~45 PSI (sorry 30 psi) to hit 1000 HP. On a blower set up probably higher PSI to hit 1000. I think the transmission in the video just has a valve body upgrade.

Reading the BRX threads on the other tundra forums the transmission is the next weak link. The ProSpeed built turboed Tundra had issues with their built transmission rated for 1000HP, I think they said it wouldn't hold 750. I don't know what the solution is outside a swap. It's a 50/50 on which builder they used.

BRX welded the clutches in 5th gear at the drag strip, however a Tundra won't shift into 5th at full throttle until you are going somewhere around 120 mph, so hopefully for most people that gear won't be an issue :)
I think my truck transmission has held up so far partly because the truck is so light and on small wheels (less load) and I finish the 1/4 mile while still in 4th gear.
I blew up more that one transmission on my lifted truck and it made a lot less power that the little one, but it weighs almost 50% more and on oversized tires.

There was a boost gauge attached during that run and you can see the boost on the screen, peaking around 18.5 PSI. It reads a little lower than the gauge in my truck though, so who knows what it actually is.

So, i ran the Holdener formula. and come up with 494WHP....or thereabouts.

which, if you harken back to my previous dynos, is pert-near right on.

on the 80mm I did 477whp. the 477 is a smidge outside the formula.

it would not be a far stretch to surmise the 77.5mm gives me ~20hp over the 80mm.

Crank HP is now at the "demon core" level. or thereabouts.

It will be neat if the larger Aisin A465/AS6xRC can be adapted. That will hold it.

Yes it would be "off" a tad to account for parasitic loss of the blower; it should deviate more at higher power levels.

He uses it to estimate blower parasitic loss in a few videos and to estimate how much boost you'll need to hit your target goal. I would repost the video where he talks about it but I've watched about 100 of his videos in the last few weeks. It helps if you know your baseline dyno number too.

My truck made 588WHP on the Harrop 85mm with the 4.5" intake and RCF throttle body, not sure what boost was. After I made some fuel system changes, switched to ARH headers, and installed my IPT valve body ProSpeed said it made over 600WHP, but was dropping fuel pressure at higher RPM. I took it back home for troubleshooting/modification, never got the print out from the 600+ run, and I haven't taken it back.

I've still got the 77.5mm pulley sitting on the shelf...taunting me...but I'm pretty sure that's the catalyst that escalates my engine-building time table.

Load is an important point to echo but never discussed (in context of longevity). While digging into high compression, high boost setups this theme came up several times, again and again. Lighter vehicles may fare well while heavier vehicles won't.

How much of a factor it is with a 3 ton baseline :notsure: but 50% reduction is significant in your case and probably why you're close to sub 3 seconds.
