Ive been gapping at .021 and had no issues I re-gapped to .024 about 6 months ago. My misfire on 7 the gap was at .030. Not sure what happened that would cause that one to increase .006. Though that is at the recommended gap of .028 to .030. It caused the misfire.

*My truck and it seems others are running well with the tighter gap of .021 to .028.

    On injectors...

I see extended nozzle sets, like DW or the OEMs, but then I also see these stubby/short ones. Which is best? pros/cons? If I go with a stubby version, what problems might I run into?

Makes no appreciable difference. I'm sure the engineers have a reason, but I've now run three different body configurations and don't notice any difference. The original TRD/Magnuson ones are even different from the factory Toyota ones.

    I might, I'll look.

Also, on the long crank, I have not had it for some time. My fuel pressure gauge goes to 60 immediately in key on.

I have been meaning to ask do cooler temps increase pressure?

    Also part 2...

Ready to join the multiple boosted vehicle club!

Pulley swap was a hell of alot easier than the Magnuson.

I definitely have the Mags, never used them, I got my set up 7k miles used so they are not new) have the bag with the pump & other things I did not use in a cabinet. I might have finally thrown the greens away after the 100th time they were in the way.

Interesting...thanks for the input! I've read comment elsewhere that there could be mixture issues with the shorter ones due to the nozzle not clearing the walls of the bore. But, honestly, I don't know much about it. It does strike me that if the shorter ones were bogus why would they be sold? And, perhaps spray pattern or something somehow makes up for it.

Another one here with intermittent warm start issues that commenced with injector install, plugs, tune.

I’m running 775cc Fuel Injector Clinics. Can have 5-10 normal starts and then 5-10 hard starts. No rhyme, reason or patterns. Always cold starts normal. The tune has been gone thru a bunch and injector pulse has been changed to no avail.

Usually starts at the end of the 2nd cycle, but sometimes takes a third push of the button.

Is this with a stock FPR or aftermarket adjustable FPR?

Stock one modified like Harrop recommends IIRC. Bought a new OEM one to have on hand when the injectors, plugs, and tune got done but I guess he was happy with how it was and didn’t mess with it.

I went back and forth with ProSpeed and my mechanic for a month with no luck until Matt Smith came through with the solution. Instantly the problem was resolved.

Nice! About to take this on myself in the next week or so, did you end up having to remove the rear calipers in order to slide the axles out enough to remove the diff?

Understandably so. Looks like a good part of it holds up.

The part about the valves in the Scavenging section were interesting.

    Many on the way.
Most folks go with a diameter that is simply too large… chasing that full throttle, big top end number, and destroying the everyday driver fun.

Did anyone ever dyno the any of the Superchargers with the old DT shorties? Those showed a very nice lump of torque from 2 - 3k RPM. Perfect for towing if the gains are realized at lower throttle openings.

How much difference do you think those shorties make from the stock manifolds?

That is a nice little lump of torque. Out of curiosity, do you know if anything was changed from a tuning perspective on those dyno runs? I don't recall exactly when tuning other than uni chip became available for these trucks, but I want to say 2018ish?? And that post was in 2019? Either way, that' some useable power there. I likes it.
